Picturings! I have
Picturings! I have decided, since I am on the course of doing nothing all summer, to be open to do picturings. I don’t need detailed sheets about how you look- actually, I prefer not to have them- but I do have a few things I’d like you to fill out. I will also use other sheets that you may have posted for your CB career if I can’t figure you out.
Name(if not in name box):
CBer, AE, OC, or CAPTCHAE(not doing CAPTCHAS, sorry):
Personality(please not a list of one-word qualities, more descriptive then that):
Special(wings/ears/etc., any preferred background)
Finished, Pencil, Character Study, Chibi, Multiple in one:
The last one needs a bit of explaining. Finished is ink and color with background, as you probably guessed. Chibi is ink and color in the chibi art style which is usually simple and cartoony. Pencil is a not-very-rough sketch; Character study is pencils of your character from multiple views, usually with little background, one full body, and several partial poses/expressions. (Occasionally a rough chibi version as well). Multiple in one is basically a candid or a family picture of a CBer with all their AEs, CAPTCHAEs, and even OCs or canon book characters. (I will need charrie sheets for each in that case, and some descriptions of the relationships between members. All are full-body without background unless otherwise said by me or asked in your special.
I’ll post a few drawings for a sample of my style when this gets posted, and will do a few CBers without requests from them if I don’t get many picturing requests or I just like their descriptions on other threads.

CBer, AE, OC, or CAPTCHAE: CBer
Personality: I'm reckless, impulsive, and a total rebel, but I try to help people when I can. Kind of a cross between Anakin Skywalker and Street Angel.
Special: I don't need anything special really.
Finished, Pencil, Character Study, Chibi, Multiple in one: Can I have finished, if it's not too much trouble? I like colors :)

I probably should have done this, but nope, I went for big long overly complicated sheet. Ah, well.
Role: CBer
Personality: I'm basically a cat. I adore elegance and desire respect, but enjoy acting silly. I will rarely let pass an opportunity to make a joke or a reference, no matter how obscure. I like to swoon over things that other people find unremarkable, say stuff in a dramatic voice, and come up with ridiculous stories about the hidden secrets of completely mundane things. I take my promises very seriously, although I'm not always punctual, and I try to help people whenever possible. I have not been bored in a very long time.
Special: Anything you want. A weird pose, maybe? Something botanical around?
Finished, Pencil, etc.: I'll take a Finished if possible, Pencil or Character Study if not. Whatever's best for you.

Here’s Agent Winter! This one was pretty labor-intensive- Viola?, I’m giving you a Character Study with some ink and color, but not a scene like AW has. Any tips about taking photos of sketchbook pages? I’m often feeling that my bad photography skills make the art seem worse than it is. Well, without further ado, I’m going to go off and lament about how much I hate drawing huskies.

Sorry, I should know huskies are hard to draw! I love it, though!

Ooh, I can't wait to see! As for photography tips:
Orient your camera the same way as the sketchbook. If your sketchbook is lying flat, hold the camera horizontally. If it's at an angle, move your camera to the same angle. A good way to tell what you need to adjust is to check how the edges of the page line up on your camera screen. Just get those all straight and you're good.
Be sure to have good lighting. Sunlight is great, although it makes dark lines look lighter. It also tends to give a bluish cast to your photo. Artificial lighting is weaker and gives a warmer tinge. Also, try to keep the shadow of your camera off of the page. You can angle your sketchbook around the light source to help with this. If the light is coming from directly above you, the camera shadow will be right in the middle. If it's off to the left, the shadow will fall to the right. I can tell that in this photo, you were holding the camera tilted back from parallel to your sketchbook and with your light source above and in front of you.
If you're able to edit photos, which to my knowledge is usually an option on phones and tablets, you can crop the edges out, play with brightness, contrast and color, and just generally tinker with your picture until it looks more the way you want it to.
Hope this helps!

Oh, wow! I wasn't expecting underwater. Or cat ears, although I suppose I should've. Thank you so much!
