The CBer sat in the shade outside their house, staring up at the single cloud in the sky. It was nearly July, and already sweltering hot. They wondered idly if it was going to rain tomorrow.
A bird glided over from somewhere behind them. Oddly, it landed right at their feet, seemingly unafraid. As the CBer watched, it set down a scroll, and stared at them for a second before flapping away. The CBer watched it go, then opened the missive.
You are invited to a free* thirty-one day** vacation at the luxurious Ryokan Suzuran! Located in a scenic valley, we offer hiking trails, hot springs and traditional Japanese rooms and services, all for no cost!* To accept, simply bury this message in open soil and water lightly. Guests and luggage to be transported by dragon.***

Appearance: Wavy dirty-blonde hair to the middle of my back, a pale-ish complexion that is exaggerated when I wear black, greenish blue eyes, medium height, skinny, prefers wearing all black because it's beautiful and not because I'm trying to look evil or sketchy or anything XD
Personality: Introverted, enjoys conversation and people for a while but after a bit I just need a little space to recharge, huge fantasy nerd, artsy, positive, bookish, loves to read and write, actually a Gryffindor, Myers-Briggs personality is INFP, and occasionally I can trip over my words when I'm talking to someone I want to look good around. I tend to agonize over it afterwards. Certain friends can bring out my wild, cracking-weird-jokes-and-stuff side, but I don't often get that extreme, especially in a new place.
Strengths: Reading, writing, consuming chocolate, art, kindness, loyalty, I'm a Gryffindor
Weaknesses: I'm a terrible procrastinator and tend to perfection-ize people I look up to or admire. I'm probably a little too curious for my own good and I have a mild case of OCD.

CBer, AE, CAPTCHA, or CAPTCHAE: Uh, how many companions can you bring? If I can bring two, my AE Samantha (normal human except for the fact she has wings) and my CAPTCHA Viri (a husky, also winged). If I can only bring one, then I'll just bring Samantha.
Appearance: I'm tall, about five feet tall, with short electric blue hair and gray-blue eyes. I have strong legs, since I do Brazillian jiu jitsu.
Personality: I'm kind of geeky (and obsessed with The Avengers, The Guardians of the Galaxy, and Star Wars). I have quite a temper. I also tend to be slightly sarcastic and snarky, but I'm cheerful as long as I'm having a good day.
Strengths: Art, singing/songwriting, writing novels (which I do most of the time)
Weaknesses: Temper, hates being ignored, is kind of sensitive about certain things
Reason for attending: I love people writing about me, and I haven't joined a ski lodge since I created my AE Samantha.
Luggage: All my Of Monsters and Men albums, my iPod and earbuds, my laptop, my toothbrush, toothpaste, and floss, a hairbrush and a large supply of hair elastics, and clothes.

Appearance: Tall and thin, with long hair and nails. Wears t-shirts, jeans, hiking socks and sneakers.
Personality: Fundamentally catlike. Curious, excitable, adores elegance and desires respect but enjoys acting silly. Treats almost everything with about the same amount of sincerity, which is not much. Determined, methodical and realistic when she gets down to something, looking for multiple angles and selecting the strategically best. Always looking for pretty little odds and ends (physical and metaphysical), weird connections to make and every possible chance to say something clever or funny. Dramatic, creepy, thinks things through.
Strengths: Art, physical flexibility, detail work, critical thinking. Secure, mildly manipulative, pursues full understanding of everything. Always looks for the best in a situation.
Weaknesses: Computers, difficult puzzles, physical strength/endurance, metaphorical endurance, taking or dealing a big metaphorical hit. Hesitant, anxious, avoidant, complacent. Can have a hard time appearing serious.
Reason for attending: Because it might be fun? And because I really want to be in a ski lodge that finishes.

Name: Claaws

Appearance: Average 16-year-old person hight, if not on the smaller side, with porcelain white skin and a spray of random freckles. Round, softish face with big pale green/blue (more on the light misty green side) eyes and long canine teeth that poke out of her puffy dark pink lips. Wavey auburn brown hair that stretches a little past the shoulder blade, that she always wears down. Has large black wings fanning from her back, with a ridge of black scales down her spine that connect them to her long black tail. Black scales dot the back of her arms, back, shoulders, and legs. Has long silver fingernails, almost like claws (wow omagosh a real shocker, I know) Her feet are a mix of talons and regular human feet. Her heels don't touch the ground, and large silver talons arch from her feet instead of toes, but other then that and a few random scales there's nothing abnormal about them. Wears a simple silver hoop in the top of her left ear. Wears a grey shirt with no back and leggings that end just below the knee. There are words in blue-green ink tattooed to the right side of the top of her back, just above the shoulder blade, that reads 'The Horizon is Just an Illusion' in cursive with three bird stillhouts in yellow sun-rise colors flying away from the last word. Isn't usually visible because her hair covers it.
Personality: Kind, loyal to anyone and everyone she's closest to, strong with a hidden side of self-doubt. Self-conscious though she never really shows it. Has a hard time accepting and realizing the truth. Loyal, even when said person doesn't deserve her loyalty. A fighter. Would never flee a situation. Fights to the end. Brave, strong, almost a leader-type if the mental blocks in her head would disintegrate. Feels guilty for pretty much everything, because she should have been able to do something, but didn't. Scatterbrained, unorganized, gets distracted way too easily. Can be independent, but would rather not be because she rarely trusts herself. Can be annoying, especially when trying to warn someone of a bad decision. Has ADHD! shocker.
Strengths: Kind, would put any living thing before herself. Loyal and extremely protective. A dreamer. A fighter. Would never flee if she didn't think it was absolutely necessary. Risk taker. Competitive. Tends to see the beauty in things. Understands. Will listen if you talk, and won't expect you to listen back. Curious. Brave. Has this weird ability to be calm in the worst situations. Can fly. Pretty well too. Can handle hot weather pretty well.
Weaknesses: Self-doubtful. Doesn't trust herself with anything. Thinks she'll just mess it up, like she messes everything up. Gets anxious and paranoid about the stupidest things, like being alone. She's strong, and that is also a weakness. When you're strong, you don't express emotions that might be bad, you don't worry others with your own problems. Years of this has made her doubt herself. Has many mental blocks. Gets distracted way too easily. Scatterbrained. Has ADHD and tends to act on random impulses. Delusional, at times. Cant go long without food. Sucks tremendously at swimming, and can't sand anything under like 50 degrees F.
Reason for attending: LET THERE BE DRAGONS. Also haven't done one of these in ages.
Luggage: FOOD. FOOD. MORE FOOD. But not popcorn. BUT FOOD. and chocolate milk. and a hairbrush. and probably some random stick found on the way there.

Other: The quote on her back has like a thousand meanings, and every interpretation can be the right one. But basically, it means that no one can stop you, your doubts or 'the horizon' shouldn't stop you because if you believe in yourself you can go as far as you want. Or to follow your dreams, don't let the rules or limitations get in your way, because they don't actually exist, just words. Or something similar. It has like a thousand interpretations.

Appearance: Little brown dragon that is about the size of a large hawk. Tannish underscales and wing membranes. Sharp black claws and teeth. Sharp yellow eyes. Has a brown pirate captain hat with a red feather (because she's a pirate. Duh.) Her ears stick out of holes in the hat. Long tail.
Personality: Very clingy. Sassy smart alec, sarcastic, likes talking in a pirate accent. Rude. Has a huge crush on my AE, Naax, but now hates him too cause he rejected her so many times.
Strengths: Can fly and boss people around like a captain! Talks all piraty. Fierce. Very fierce little dragon...
Weaknesses: Sassy, sarcastic, hates and likes my AE at the same time so emotionally confused, often rude and defensive.
Reason for attending: she goes everywhere with me. Literally.
Luggage: Pirate hat and her accent. Really doesn't need anything else, will eat my food lol.

Appearance: Tall, shoulder lenth blond wavy hair, blue eyes, athletic build, but not necisarily 'strong'. Wears sporty things, as in a tank top, shorts, etc.
Personality: Laid back, fun, sarcastic and witty, BUT I am quite kind. Sometimes a little strange, *Says in valley girl voice* but thats only because you dont get me. Actually Im alot more easy going than most girls my age.
