Does anybody here do little craft projects every now and then? I thought it would be a nice idea to post my first thread aside from the I'm New thingy about crafty things. I personally like sewing the best, and I'm just a little curious about what you guys might make, so share it here! ^u^
(side note on my part-- most sewing projects I do are clothes I make for my abjd's so that's probably all I'll end up posting)

I don't do many craft projects at home, but at school we're making huge fish puppets for a play. First you make the shape with newspaper and tape. Then you make a clay with shredded wet toilet paper, joint compound, linseed oil, and glue. Sounds super random but it actually works, surprisingly. After that you coat it with "refined clay", which is half glue and half joint compound. Then it gets sanded and you can paint it! I think we're going to cut them open afterwards and take the stuffing out or something along those lines. Not sure...
