So MAPs.  MAPs, MEPs, AMVs, and PMVs.

So as far as I know, a MAP is a Multiple Artist Project or Multiple Animator Project.  It seems pretty cool.  A MEP is a Multiple Editor Project I believe.  AMV means Animated Music Video.  PMV is commonly mistaken for meaning Personal Music Video or Pony Music Video, where I think it actually means Picture Music Video.  All three of these can be correct, but I think PMV is mostly used for the last one.

I've been playing with the idea of making a CB MAP (meaning Multiple Artist Project, though I'm sure there are a lot of animators on here) where we draw pictures for a certain part in a certain song and edit all the pictures together and add the music.  It doesn't have to be to music, but a speech or spoken word poem if it's more apropriate.  I'm not sure it this is a good idea, since we don't really have a way for everyone to communicate besides this and I'm sure everyone would like to see it at some point.  

So yeah.  My thoughts on MAPs, MEPs, AMVs, and PMVs.

Oh wow! I didn't think anyone else on here knew about MAPs! I watch quite a lot of em, and follow many MAP animators too. I think a CBer PMV MAP would be a lot of fun to do, but you'd have to get enough people to participate.

Yes, I have!  I made an account for it a long time ago, but I can't remember the password anymore.  I also kinda remember being really bad at coding....

A. I probably won't check this thread again in the next while cause I only happen to have free time today, so...

B. I don't know how we would be able to do a MAP on the CB, because there is no way for us to share videos (currently). However, there are a bunch of CBers on Scratch, and it's not hard to join, so possibly we could get together a group of people to make one there? Also, on a side note, a while ago I found a CB studio on Scratch... is anyone still using that?

C. I am NOT volunteering myself for anything, for the same reasons that I left (or said I left - as you can see by me posting, I didn't completely leave).
