In which I like the hand and the feet.

Sure, I'll join! I might not post a picture every day because uploading photos from my camera is a pain, but I'll do the art at least.

I'm thinking of setting myself an art challenge in which for some time, I draw every day, but not some specific thing. There are two things that I have in mind for this, and those are cats (because most of the people I know think I'm obsessed with cats for some reason) and people (and all things directly related to people, because I need to branch out). 

Another challenge is a quick one I did from the train recently. That was to look at the trees, and watch any that caught my eye for the few seconds that I could see them, and then render a basic sketch of the trunk up to the first few branches. It was for observing how trees grow (unevenly, and interestingly), and to practice rendering/drawing from life. It was also a bit of an exercise in sketching very roughly and quickly without worrying about it, because I sometimes have trouble with that. I filled about a page and a bit with it.
