Haiku Picturings!

Haiku Picturings!
Yes, you read that correctly. I said Haiku Picturings. For those of you who don't know, a haiku is an ancient form of Japanese poetry that consists of three lines: the first, with five syllables; the second, with seven syllables; and the third, with five syllables once more. They usually describe a moment in time or a scene in nature, but I'm going to adapt that to write haikus describing CBers. If you would like one, please post below! (First person to post, please top).

This is just sort of a note to all-- sometimes when I'm writing these, I'll kind of picture the CBer's name, like in Rose bud's or Vyolette's. Sometimes, though, I'll picture the CBer themselves, like in Leeli's or in Viola?'s. If you have a specific preference you can let me know, but otherwise, I'll just go with whatever my mind does. :)

Sorry for the wait everyone-- here's Leafmists's:

Mist, it waits, for a little
twist of simple fate.

Wow! I like writing poetry too and these are great. I would be happy if you made one for me too! P.S. - Cignus means swan in Italian.

*ahem* Might one dare to ask? To hope? To dream?
I'd like one, please. I love haikus! They're much more difficult to write than one would think-- so much meaning and imagery, in so few words. The elegance of simplicity. Less is often more.
(February 12, 2018 - 9:16 pm)
Exactly! They're so fun to create, though. So simple, yet so much meaning.

~Starseeker (PS I played off not only the feeling your name gives me, but your location as well. :) )

A thousand, thousand thanks, Starseeker! It's beautiful. I love the image of forest-trees drinking in the moonlight like rain. And I'm so glad you understand the implications of my location! It's the name of one of my imaginary countries. ;D

Wow, this seems really cool. Would you do one for me, please?
(February 12, 2018 - 9:25 pm)
Why thank you, coyote! I'm rather proud of them myself.

Thanks, Cignus! Your name is cool. Are you a particular fan of swans, or did the name appeal to you in some other way? (Sorry, I'm the CB's resident name freak. XD)
