Great idea! I only started knitting a little while ago as well, but it's fun and creative and it calms my nerves.

Ooh, yes! I personaly prefer the good old fasioned way of knitting with needles, but I just looked up finger knitting yesterday and now I almost have a whole hat completed! It's crazy how fast you can knit by finger knitting! Does anyone loom knit? Crochet?

I knit and crochet! They are both such fun and rewarding hobbies. Glad to see some of you CBers knit and crochet, too.

My cousin and I started a knitting club at school, to teach people how to knit and donate the results! We have a bunch of people in the club, and most didn't know how to knit when we started. My cousin, the other expirienced knitters, and I have been slowly teaching the other people to knit. Teaching others a new skill is a lot of fun, and I've been making new friends, too. I think we're going to donate what we make to a homeless shelter where my cousin volunteers.

Ooh! I love knitting! I prefer arm knitting to knitting with needles, as it's faster for me. I made an infinity scarf in 40 minutes!

I can't knit, but I love to crochet! My mother taught me to crochet a few years ago. Sometimes I use patterns, but I find that I work better if I make my own patterns. Some things that I've made are scarves, hats, headbands, and drink coasters.

Right now, I am crocheting scarves in the colors of the Hogwarts houses from Harry Potter. I am going to sell the scarves to earn money for a trip my Girl Scout Troop is going on (To Savvanah Georgia this summer)

I love to knit, though I do prefer crocheting. I'm not the best at it, but it is fun to do once in a while. I included a picture of a scarf I knitted during long car rides when we went to Washington D.C. a couple of years ago. I made it really wide so that I could wind it around my face if I wanted to. It looks short in the picture, but it actually is pretty long. I wear it from time to time when it's cold out. I've crocheted a few scarves, quite a few bun covers(to wear over your dance bun), a hat for a friend's dog(XD), a headband, a few bracelets, a couple of bags, and a few random things I've never finished(if I did have any idea what they were supposed to be anyway). Hopefully my picture shows up. 

I've always wanted to get into knitting and crocheting. I do loom-knitting, which is pretty easy, but I don't do it very often. I've knitted a scarf before, and I have a scarf-in-progress on my long loom, and a hat in progress on my round loom. I'll have to check out finger-knitting and arm-knitting since you guys say they're fast, and I have almost no patience for knitting. XD

I don't know how to knit, but I crochet! I'm actually working on a scarf right now, I'll post it when I'm done. Do any of you embroider? I recently go into that, it's pretty fun!

Whoa. Those are one of the things that I want to make at least once in my knitting carrer. I love the colorwork on it!

Here are some socks that I have been knitting as of late. As you can see, the last one is not quite finished yet. I have WAY too much socks yarn to use up. But, when life gives you socks yarn, you make socks xD
