Hey guys, in Creative Writing this semester we brainstormed things that were close to our heart and then wrote a poem about them. Of course, the CB came to mind immediately. I wrote this poem with all of you in mind, and if I left you out, there's no offense intended. I value you all the same. :) I'm not going to submit this one for the assignment because it's too personal, but I just wanted to show it to you guys.

Everywhere I look,

Encouragement and praise
Excitement and depression
We've been through it all, because
they are my family.

I'll never know them
Beyond what they choose to say.

Thanks so much, Vyolette! I'm never quite sure how good of a poet I am (I don't usually write free verse like this) but I'm glad you think so! And of course you can call me Star. Starseeker is a bit of a mouthful. :)
