Shakespeare!!
Any Shakespeare geeks out there? I love his work. I just spent an *amazing* weekend with my aunt and cousin, during which we watched A Midsummer Nights Dream, acted it out, and then watched the "Shakespeare Retold" episode on it. Which is basically a modern retelling (think West side Story, but in all kinds of settings). Oh, and we played scrabble. :D
I really want to go to Ashland to see shows. The Shakespeare Festival sounds so awesome... *goes off into fairyland*

Shakespeare Retold as in the 2005 BBC thing with A Midsummer Night's Dream, Macbeth, Taming of the Shrew, and... the other one? Much Ado About Nothing (I think)? I looooooooove those adaptions (Taming of the Shrew especially, and no, of *course* it doesn't have anything to do with the two amazing leads... Whatever gave you that idea?).
And yes, I am a Shakespeare geek. Taming of the Shrew and Macbeth are my favourites.

I like the Shakespeare stories, but they are slightly hard to follow when they talk in Shakespearean. :) My mom has a book of a bunch of the plays retold in modern English.
