Advice urgently needed!
Advice urgently needed! I was looking through a book of classic musical theater songs my voice teacher had, and realized I didn't recognize more than a quarter of them.
So, what are your favorite musicals/ones everyone should know? What are your favorite songs from them?

I need advice about this too, actually. I know, only, The Wizard of Oz and the Sound of Music. I've tried listening to a few others recently-- Phantom of the Opera, Gypsy, and Dear Evan Hansen-- and I thought they were boring. And Hamilton has too much rapping. Sorry if this offends anyone. Just my opinion, I'm probably being too picky.

The Wizard of Oz and Sound of Music are great classics! More that are sort of similar to those are the Music Man, Fiddler on the Roof, and Singing in the Rain.
I love Hamilton and like Phantom, but of course I'm not offended-- everyone has their own opinions! And honestly, I only like Waving Through A Window from Dear Evan Hansen.

Oh, my school is doing Les Mis for our winter musical this year! I AM SOOOOO EXCITED! Al though I didn’t have the time to audition for one of the solo roles, I am in the ensemble and super excited about it.

Literally the only ones I’ve seen is Mary Poppins as a really cool play and Magic Treehouse musical (both when I was 5 XD). But I’ve listened to the Lightning Thief musical soundtrack and I really like it. My favorite song is Bring on the Monsters, in that musical at least.

Oh my goodness. Last year my school went to see the Sound Of Music, and for some reason, I was the only one that didn't find it super boring. My favorite song is "I am 16 Going on 17."
