Any other Anastasia fans out there? I started listening to the soundtrack recently, AND I LOVE IT! It's beautiful and wonderful and just ahhhhhh! But I do have one problem. They changed the lyrics. I found two different versions, and I'm confuzzled as to which is which. The changes were good in some places, but I really liked the first and longer version of my Petersburg. Which soundtrack do y'all listen to? Also, how do you spell Dmitry? I've seen it spelled like I just spelled it, and also Dimitri and Dmitri. It's just...one of those names :P
Okay, Fanastasias, what are your favorite songs? Favorite characters? Favorite actors? Has anybody seen the musical? Does anyone like the Disney version better (it's a tie for me)?

I really like the Broadway soundtrack, but the movie is the og Anastasia, so it's pretty good too. And I have no idea how to spell Dmitri, however it is spelled "Dmitry" on broadway.com.
My favoritre songs are Once Upon a December, Journey to the Past, Learn to Do It and Paris Holds the Key to Your Heart. (A lot, I know, but they're all so good!)
CHRISTY ALTOMARE HAS A BROADWAY.COM vlog and it is everything!!! You should go check it out. It's one of the main reasons why I love the cast!
I've never seen the show, but it is on my bucket list! But I live in Florida, so I really hope they launch a national tour!
I like BOTH versions equally as well, but P.S., it's 20th Century Fox, not Disney. No worries, everyone (including my Social Studies teacher) gets it mixed up sometimes. :)
I'm so glad you like the musical too! Have you seen their performance on the Macy's Parade this year? It was phenomenal! :)

Top! And about the Disney/not Disney thing, Disney bought it, so it's technically Disney, but I know that it wasn't ORIGINALLY Disney.

Oh whoops! Sorry my mistake. I googled it and i read that they bought Anastasia with the intentions to make it into a live action movie(?) Just a rumor, but I hope it's true!

Yes!!! I showed it to some of my friends in study hall. We were mostly just...fangirling...Dmitry...yeah...we're kind of crazy. We also made a lot of noise for a "quiet" study hall :)

I just realized that every single source of information that Disney had bought Anastasia was published on April 1st. Conincidence? I think not. I'm beginning to think Disney never bought the rights after all, and here I've been thinking for quite a while that it's a Disney movie now! Just goes to show you can't trust the internet, and you were right about it still not being Disney.
