Theatre fans!!!

We all have those dream roles that you always think about performing, but, alas, will sadly most likely never play... What are some of yours?

When Matilda the Musical first opened on Broadway, I became addicted. It was my DREAM to be Matilda. I literally taught myself some of the dance moves!

Of course, that wasn't the only one. I was obsessed with finding new kids roles on Broadway that I KNEW I was too tall for but wanted anyway, like Little Cosette or Gretl from the Sound Of Music. 

I'm older now, so the chance of my Broadway hopes and dreams is getting slimmer as I reach teenagehood... but I stiil love Matilda! (Although we do need some more teenager roles!)

Right now, I'd LOVE to have the vocal range to play Dawn in Waitress, Eponine in Les Mis or Anastasia in Anastasia. 

Maybe it'll happen one day, but a girl can dream...

Ha, I was just contemplating this the other day. I was in a Miscast Cabaret one time, where you were cast in songs and dances as characters you would never ordinarily play, and I was my dream role! (the first on this list)

That's so cool! I've seen so many miscasts online, but I've never been in one. That's definitely on my musical theatre bucket list! Even though I'm a mezzo, my vocals are NOT even close enough to qualify as Kristine! :)
