So, I think this chatterbox is a great place just to talk about musical theatre! I think it might be nice to hear about what shows you like/seen, you're in, or you've been in!
I haven't seen another thread (yet) like this, and I'd just like to meet all my fellow musical theatre geeks!
Right now, I'm currnetly obsessed with Anastasia, Matilda, Les Miserables, and The Sound of Music. (I'm super excited because I'm seeing the touring production soon!)
I've seen quite a lot of shows throughout my city (both Broadway touring productions and community theatre) , including Hello Dolly!, White Christmas, The Little Mermaid, Wizard of Oz, and Annie.
I'm not in any shows currently, but some of the many shows I've been in include Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (x2!), The Music Man, Honk!, and The Sound of Music.
I'd LOVE to hear what shows you like! Let me know in the replies! :)
P.S., This is my first post on this sight in 4 years! The last time I was here I was 9ish and under a different username. Although, I get really busy and I'm super disorganized, so it could be ages before I post again. ;)

SOM was the first musical I've ever seen, and the first full-length production I was in! It will forever hold a special place in my heart!

Ohmygosh yes! I love Matilda, Les Miserables, The Sound of Music, Beauty and the Beast, My Fair Lady, Singing in the Rain, Ohklahoma, Adams Family the Musical and Shrek. And Calamity Jane. I love Calamity Jane! Did I say Annie Get Your Gun? And West Side Story? And Annie! My list could go on forever!
Some of the shows I have been in are The Sound of Music, Shrek and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory just to name a few.

Singing in the Rain is such a classic. When I was in the 4th grade, a friend and I had that entire movie memorized. I haven't heard of Calamity Jane, I'll have to give it a listen. :)

The musicals I've gotten into are:
Newsies, Mary Poppins, The Sound of Music, Wicked, The Lion King, The Little Mermaid, Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables, Matilda, Anastasia, Finding Neverland, Dear Evan Hansen, Bandstand, She Loves Me, Hamilton, The Wizard of Oz, Chicago, In The Heights, Bright Star, Annie, and Singin' in the Rain.
So yep, I'm obsessed. Does anyone want to fangirl with me?

Honestly, I love all musicals. I ended up being Sandy from Grease for Halloween!

YEEEES. Theatre forever!!!! I've been in like 9ish musicals, including Shrek (twice), Alice in Wonderland, Charlotte's Web, Peter Pan, and so many others. *sighs reminiscently* I've seen Finding Neverland, Wicked, and Phantom of the Opera on Broadway, I practically grew up with Les Mis, and I'm obsessed with the soundtracks of Newsies and Hamilton, thought I've never seen them.

Neat! My friend was just in Shrek! I was really sad when Les Miz closed on Broadway, but luckily they got a tour! Are you going to see it? :)
