I saw a video online by UnknownSpy, an artist and animator, doing a speedpaint titled "OC-tober Protagonist" and I was thinking about if OC-tober was something they created or an official thing.

Hey, I watched that too! (I'm subscribed to them) I think it's a real thing, but as October drawing challenges are abundant and endless, I can't be sure. Anyways, even if they did make it up, anyone can do it.
