Lofi Hip-Hop/Chillstep
I've officially discovered my favorite genre of music... The lovely, the obscure, lofi hip-hop! While I adore Broadway musicals and synth-pop, I don't have a lot of time to just listen to music, and these can be pretty distracting for multitasking.
If you don't know what lofi/chillstep is, look it up, please! It's amazing, super beautiful, and amazingly peaceful to listen to when I'm drawing, doing homework and the like. It's just. So great. Also, the titles in the genre are pure poetry.
Does anyone listen to lofi? Please check it out! Some of my favorite artists are Lophee, In Love With a Ghost (they are the best!!!), and Syros. All their songs and mixes are great, but if you want some specific recommendations, I really enjoy:
- we've never met but can we get a coffee or something [ilwag]
- a mix about cats, love, breakfast, and being tired [ilwag]
- things that make me smile [syros]
- I'm in love with you, sorry [lophee]
- it's not just summer, it's what we remember of it during the cold winter nights [syros]
- me crying and glitching then realizing that there's still chocolate [ilwag and Dodie Clark]

Oh my Claaws yes, I've listened to most of those and I love almost all of them, especially In Love With A Ghost! My favorite ones from ilwag are sorry for not answering the phone, I'm too busy trying to fly away and basically the entire album healing.

In Love With a Ghost is amazing. They have the best music and healing is such a great album.
Coincidentally, I'm listening to sorry for not answering the phone right now! I also love welcome at qwerty and azerty's house but in the beginning, when there are those little knocking sounds, it freaks me out every single time. I keep thinking someone's at my window or something. xD

For some reason the knocks don't bother me? I don't know why. I love the style of the songs, though, the way the art isn't just in the music, but also in the visuals and the titles, and the story that can gradually be pieced together through all three.

I LOOOOOOVE Lo-fi!!! It's so great to write/study/draw to! I usually just listen to a playlist online, but some of my favorite songs are-
-waking up in the park (j'san)
-mosey (joeshort)
-Freedom(Juan Rios)
-Leavin' (Philanthrope)
-0.2 wav (slr)
And I've heard the first one on your list. I don't know if the song Tokyo Narita by Halsey would count as lo-fi but it kinda sounds like it and it's a really good song.
