I auditioned for Annie yesterday!!!! If I get in I'm going to be Pepper or one of the kids in the orphanage. Hopefully Pepper. Today I have to go to the theater for callbacks. So I think that I might have a chance at getting in. *runs around the room in excitement* (seriously, that's what I did!) I'll tell you if I get in!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know if I'm in. Hopefully I am. There were a bunch of girls there. We had to dance, a lot. That was part of the auditioning part. To see how well you danced. I think I danced Okay.

It happened to me, too, last fall. (I was madder than you seem to be, though!:) I'm going to audition for "Aladdin's Magic Lamp" in November.

I siad that I was "not that sad". It doesn't meen that I wasn't sad. I've auditioned for three things and I only got a part in ONE of them. That was the first I auditioned for. Seussical the Musical. About a bunch of Dr. Seuss characters. I was a who and a fish. A very annoyed fish. I had to wear a dress!!!! :( I DON'T like dresses!!!!!!!!! And I wore a skirt for my who outfit. A YELLOW skirt. A short one, too. I only like long skirts. And I had to wear makeup and ponytails. But i enjoyed dancing and singing so I was (partly) OK with that. I also had to sit in a hallway were you had to be quiet and stay in your seet. I was right by a fan. COLD. And that was for the time i wasn't on stage. Most of the time. I had to change in less than a minute. But still, Ilike dancing and singing. So i tried out for Annie. And the Auditions were the same time as the awards for Seussical. So then, I had to see the director when I had to perform the first seusscal song. And I had to get reminded of what I didn't get into. People from seussical got in, but me and my sister didn't. But they have parents that help them and stuff. They have makeup. They have the same amount of experience as me. That was the forst time they acted, in seussical. But there parents DID try out to be in it. Maybe they wanted ONE of us to get in but the other they ddn't. They didn't want to hurt the other kids feelings so none of them got in. That's one other reason. But most likely that's not the case. most likely I am just BAD at singing and acting. I don't know. Maybe it was that I didn't smile when I was dancing. or that i'm to big. Or or or... I don't know. I AM sad, but not THAT sad. *bursts into tears* I wonder why i didn't get in.

I sympathize. That's what I felt like too. All the girls from this acting class that I was in got in, except me. (Well, except for one. She didn't audition.)

I can't say I'm empathetic, because I've only auditioned once, I didn't get in, but that's to be expected at a first try, right? but I am sympathetic!!!!!
And it doesn't help that my cousin Tess gets into EVERYTHING!!! I mean, she played JoJo in Suessical (spl?)!! Not fair!! And she was in a movie!!!!
Ok, I'm probably not helping. Don't feel bad, who knows, maybe the reason you didn't get this part is because in order to get a better part later in life, you had to not get this. I know it sounds nutty, but you never know, it could happen! :)

Yeah, that might be it. I know someone that seems like your cousin Tess. Sara, someone that got THREE parts in Seussical. A who, a fish, and a chrismas who. Me, I got two parts, a who, and a fish. And then I auditioned for Nuncrackers. Which, I didn't get into. But I bet Sara did. I SAW her audition. And then, she got to be Scout, in To Kill a Mocking Bird. And now, she's Annie in Annie.
