Poem advice?
Poem advice?
Hey guys! It's me, the ever elusive Autumn Leaves who drifts in occasionally on the breeze. *sighs* LIFE IS SO INSANE!!!!
Ahem, sorry. Anyways, I'm not here to gripe about life, (I can do that later lol) I'm here to maybe ask for some advice for a thingy I'm doing.
So, here's the deal. I'm going to be doing this little medieval festival thing that a bunch of my homeschooling friends are putting together. There's this part where you can tell a poem/story and get graded for it. So, last year I wrote a poem called "The Tale of Sir Galahad" (Or something along those lines) and it was really well received. So this year, I want to do something similar, but with fractured fairy tales, but I am having the hardest time coming up with a structure.
Oh, ok, so this might be helpful to know; I wrote the poem sort of like a song. Sort of. Basically, there was a measured tempo, and I tried to use words to accurately fit said tempo. Like, "Now this may be seen/as tragic or comic/but there is one lesson/that you should learn from it. (Yeah, not Shakespeare, but it worked. And mostly the reason I do this is because it's so similar to music, and I understand THAT way better than poetry.) So..... yeah. Any advice? Ideas? Fractured fairy tales?
Also, I know it's a bit weird to show up out of the blue like this. (Sorry I'm too tired to say more, and to say it more eloquently) I missed you guys. *hugs*

AUTUMN LEAVES!!!! *Tackle hugs* I'm so glad to see you! Also, I didn't know you're homeschooled!
Um, what you're doing sounds really cool! I'm bad at giving advice though so...I guess I'll leave that to the other peeps.
