It's an off-Broadway musical, and it is actully really close to The Lightning Thief as a book. I've been listening to the sountrack, and it's now one of my favorite musicals. Their humor is on point, and they have grasped the characters really well. Percy's Good Kid song is just perfect to his character, and I just realized how similar Annabeth is to Alexander Hamilton with her song My Grand Plan (which says RISE UP! often, which is perfection for this Hamilfan!). I also love the songs Lost, Campfire Song and Drive. And ARGH, this is just perfection! Look up the soundtrack, it's just amazing.

I love the musical! Almost no one knows about it, which is so sad. I don't think it's better than Dear Evan Hansen or Hamilton but it's really cool to hear and it's a zillion times better than the movies!!! (They actually have blue food!)

It's so funny!!! I've been listening to the soundtrack and I laughed outloud at the "you drool in your sleep" line. YES! YAS! They got it right! I'm so happy. Now I just wish I could go see the play.
