Random HP Movie Facts
Part One
The miniature model of Hogsmeade was covered in dendritic salt, which is a salt that acts almost exactly like snow. It even squeaks when you step on it, just like real snow!
Jason Isaacs (Lucius Malfoy) was the one who came up with the idea of his wand being pulled out of his cane.
Sixteen different 1962 Ford Anglias were used when filming HP and the Chamber of Secrets.
The printing press in the Lovegood house is fully operational.
The large-scale Hagrid is played by Martin Bayfield, and he wears an animatronic mask to look like Robbie Coltrane (Hagrid).

@Lily, If you had to pick one kind word for each house, what would they be?
There is something that I can't for the life of me remember. What are the Ilvermorny houses? Puckwudgie, Horned Serpent, Wampus, and... Some sort of bunny thing? Its been driving me crazy. Do you think that there are equivalents between Hogwarts and Ilvermorny? I don't. Also, what are the traits of each American house? Which ones were Tina and Queenie in?

I'm too lazy to do deep digging, but:
Horned Serpent - the mind, favors scholars
Wampus - the body, favors warriors
Pukwudgie - the heart, favors healers
Thunderbird - the soul, favors adventurers
@Embers: I write a bit of HP fanfiction. Barely any of my fanfics ever get done, but I have a lot of ideas.

Guys, did you know that J.K. Rowling's first book, the sorcerer's stone, or philosopher's stone, was turned down seven times by different publishers because they didnt think the book would sell. They must be feeling pretty rotten now...

Ok, ok, I'm sorry they are terrible jokes. In all serious, though, do you guys think Albus Potter was in the wrong, or Harry was?
Im not sure Harry was the best father to be perfectly honest. I mean it was hard for him, and especially hard for Albus, but I dont think he handeled it very well. He did well enough until the point when he said that Albus wasn't a good son at times, I mean I know that Albus said it first, but it would probably be a lot harder on him than it would on Harry. But the answer to the question, I think, would be neither of them.
Seriously, can you imagine growing up with famous parents? Parents who are honoured and who saved the world you live in? And then, you had one chance to follow in your father's footsteps, and you felt like you failed? Like people were judging you? I think everyone knows that no matter what house you are in, you still have potential, and you are still just as great as the other houses. But I dont think thats how Albus felt, and I dont think thats how he thought Harry felt.
But it would also be difficult having a son who is embarrassed of you and ashamed of who he is. Harry tried his best to help Albus, and I think it would be nearly as hard on Harry as it was on Albus. All those years as Harry grew up, famous and rich, he certainly didnt live a life of perfection. He never chose for things to be that way, and he certainly didnt want it to. But one thing annoyed me, Harry was pretty judgemental of Scorpius. seriously, he didnt even know the kid, and yet he was judging him? Yeah, ok, he was the son of his arch enemy, but that does never mean they are the same person. Im sorry, but it is true. Even if he didnt want to forgive Draco, cant he atleast be reasonable about his son?
Oops. Rant alert. Im sorry, I just got in the zone, I guess...It's still me, I dont bite. I respect your opinions, thats just my own. :) :) :)

On the movies: The movies were good, but they could have been a million times better if Terry Gilliam had directed them! And also loads of stuff was left out, like Sirius' mirror (which was in a deleted scene!!!!)

I likes the movies, but they could've added more in the first ones. They were a lot better than the Percy Jackson movies (then again, pretty much anything is)
