So I've seen people doing these, and it looks like a lot of fun! So I thought I would try my hand at it, if anyone is interested in joining. You can read the whole thing, or just skip to the letter.
Today is the perfect day... The sun is high in the sky. It is not beating down, but rather smiling. And it seems like the world is smiling back. Birds are singing louder than usual, trees look even greener. Even the breezes seem to dance with extra excitement.
It is the sort of day that feels like it is waiting to be seized, full of possibilities! And yet it is so tempting to choose lie around basking in the sunshine, and doing absolutely nothing.
Today, however, the choice is not up to you.
You are at a park near your home. The trees are big and some are bent into odd shapes, with long sprawling branches the beg to be climbed. You are lying on one of these branches, feeling so lazy...
OOMPH a squirrel lands on your chest! You shriek in surprise! When the squirrel doesn't move, you just lie there, heart beating from being so startled. You stare at him for what seems like a long time. You are just about to do something (you are not sure quite what) when the squirrel leaves. You look after it, and laugh.
And then you notice the note left, right where he had been standing.

We have chosen you! (Yes, you!) to take part in an all inclusive resort stay at the Petting Zoo! Now before you ask, the Petting Zoo is not just a petting zoo. Yes, it is an animal themed resort! Stay in the Bunny Burrow hotel, with a rollercoaster instead of elevators and stairs! (This is safe, I assure you.) Enjoy an unimaginable variety of animal themed treats! (Panda Pop, anyone?) Fancy a swim at Baby Turtle Beach? A stroll around our namesake petting zoo? Or perhaps you prefer to relax in one of our many animal-themed hotel rooms! We will organize daily activities for you all to compete in. The winner is the Petting Zoo champion, and gets a free season pass! Why are we giving you all this for free, you ask? Well the Petting Zoo has not officially opened yet, and we are hoping you! (Yes, you!) Will be our beta testers!
We will pick you up tomorrow at 10 AM (sharp!) at this location!

Personality Traits: Smart, introverted but friendly, very stubborn.
Appearance: 5´1¨, with two long reddish-blond braids. Gray/green eyes. Wears purple tortoiseshell glasses
Favorite Animal: Owl

Appearance: medium length, curly brown hair. 5 foot 2, brown eyes, very lightly tan skin. Black glasses.
Favorite Animal: Koalas and Giraffes (dogs too)

Name: Destiny
Personality Traits: I am quiet until you know me, and am always buried in a book. Good at archery (I won a silver metal and beat a like 14 year old). Kind, Brave, Smart, Creative, Adventureous, and a very big Dreamer.
Appearance: Waist lenght brown hair and grey-blue eyes with gold around the center. Always wearing shorts (was jeans, but is hot here) and t-shirt. Almost always has hair in ponytail.
Favorite Animal: I got so many I can't list them all. Mostly wolves, horses, dragons (yes, I do believe in dragons), cats dogs, and goats.

Personality Traits- Silly, but cares deeply about others. Knows how to have fun, but also when to be serious. Is a leader, not a follower. (Will follow, though.)
Appearance- Long brown hair, usually down. Has light skin. Dark brown eyes, and always smiling. Always wears a short-sleeve T-shirt, with a different fandom pictured on it every day. Wears blue jeans or shorts, depending on the weather. Has prescription sunglasses. :)
Favorite Animal- Pet- Goldfish
Wild- Elephants or Whales
Fantasy- Niffler!
Packing List- All the HP books, all the LotR and Hobbit books, and all movies of both series. I will also bring my cat, becuse he needs to get out and get some exercise.;) My drawing supplies go where I go, and this is no exeption. Aaand I'll bring my wand and lightsaber too. Why not. And my sword. Just in case...

Name: Starseeker
Personality: quiet, fiercely loyal, bookish, smart, nice, compassionate, comsiderate
Appearance: Well, usually I am a large black dragon with shimmery purple accents, but that tends to scare other CBers (and animals!) (@Destiny: I'm glad you believe in dragons, otherwise I wouldn't exist! :) ) So I will be be wearing an amulet that turns me into a human female. That human female has long black hair, pale skin, and purple eyes. I usually wear comfy clothes and a long, deep purple cloak.
Favorite animal: DRAGONS, of course, but a close second is any kind of cat (house cat, Amur Leopard, panther, tiger, you name it!) (What is an Amur Leopard, you ask? It's basically a leopard that has adapted super long fur for cold climates.)
AEs/CAPTCHAs: I will not be bringing my AE Zoey (she's at the AE ball), and I will also not be bringing my CAPTCHA Starfire Scales. She's too small; she may get eaten!
Packing List: A magical backpack with anything and everything I need inside. Contents include (but this isn't all): rope, magic powers (in portable form; don't ask me how that's possible), books, and more books.

Name: Icy
Personality traits: Curious but not dumb about investigating strange and evil things, smart, LOVES guessing the murderer, writes everything down, a little bit of a loner, jumps to conclusions (but only for about two seconds.).
Appearance: Paper pale, medium length blonde hair, light blue eyes with a gold circle around the middle making them look green in certain lights.
Favorite Animal: Honestly, my favorite animals are Koalas and Moose, but for the purpose of my CB self/character, a swan (they really are beautiful).
AEs/CAPTCHAs: N/A. I have an AE, a CAPTCHAE, and a CAPTCHA, but they tend to dislike Ski Lodges.
Packing List: Ten notebooks for investigative purpose and writing down clues, four journals for just writing down life there, a few thousand pencils, two pencil sharpeners, and my ice powers. Yes, I said ice powers. Is there something wrong with that?

Alright, let's give this a shot.I apologize it is sort of long and rambly.

Part One
The forest was beautiful at first glance. The grass was lush and sweet, dotted with a variety of unusual wildflowers. A dirt path, about big enough for one car, wound artistically throough the woods. The trees were tall and thick, with emerald leaves dancing in the wind and casting the whole area in a fairytale-like glow.
Upon closer inspection, one might be disappointed to realise all the trees were plastic.
At 10:30 AM, a fleet of animal-print cars arrived in a forest, each one carrying a CBer. Icy dutifully noted in one of her books that the ride had lasted 30 minutes exactly. And yet everyone felt like it had been a lot longer, and was thus glad to get out of their cars.
Fireburst saw Rae's cat almost immediately, and introduced herself cheerfully to both of them.
"Hi, I'm Fireburst, you?"
"I'm Rae!"
"And how are you?" she looked inside the car at the cat, directing the question at him.
Rae scooped the cat up in her arms "He's doing well, want to pet him?"
The got talking and hit it off instantly. They both assumed responsibility together for everyone getting to know eachother. They walked around introducing themselves and others, until everyone felt a little more comfortable.
No one noticed that the cars had left, silently.
"I think we've been stood up," Anna, Elementgirl's AE, announced flatly. "we've been here an HOUR and no one has showed up."
EG looked at her watch, "It's been ten minutes."
Anna glowered at her.
Rae was about to start announcing a game for all of them to play to pass the time, when the sound of hooves rang through the air.
"It sounds like horses!" Destiny noted, unnecessarily
And so it was. In the clearing arrived a gray horse with black spots. On top of the mount was a woman in a tight bun and a gray buisness suit. She did not look like a fan of horses.
Nobody said anything for two, long, uncomfortable minutes,
Destiny finally burst out, "Can I pet your horse?" and this led way to a stream of overlapping questions.
"Where are we?"
"Where's the resort?"
"Does your horse have a name?"
"I'm hungry! Where are the Panda Pops?"
Icy's voice cut over the clamor "Listen!" The woman on the horse assumed Icy meant to listen to the instructions. She cleared her throat again.
"As I was trying to say befo-"
"More horses!" Destiny cried
The sound of hooves was in the air once more
The woman looked highly displeased. Within minutes a herd of fourteen horses (AutumnArtist counted) arrived in the clearing.
"These are your rides." The woman announced over the clamor that had ensued. "Since you clearly are not going to pay attention right now, shall we ride back first, get something to eat, and then I'll explain more?" She put on a fake smile for the last part.
Everyone eagerly mounted their horses. Each horse seemed to have been meant specifically for each CBer. A white horse with an icy-blue saddle for, Icy, a large black horse with a deep purple saddle for Starseeker and such.
And soon they were on their way to a new adventure.
