Chatterbox: Pudding's Place

A message to all:

My deepest apologies. I posted this a month ago, and not being incredibly active on this corner of the Chatterbox fine forgot as it sank to the back pages... then recently it has come to my attention that I never began the great adventure I had (albeit roughly) planned! Oops.

Anyway, we're still on! If you signed up before, you may join this adventure again, and simply request to use the sheet you filled out earlier, or fill out a new one. Also, please take as much licorice as you want as a token of my apologies.

If you didn't sign up before, please do! I'd like at least twenty people, so bring your entourage!!

You are staring into space at the local shoelace store, wondering what your purpose in life is and what you are doing at a shoelace store of all places. You happen to glance up at a bulliten board. Most of the notices on it are large and brightly colored (and fluffy, for some reason), but one stands out to you by dint of of its simplicity:

This is a Warning. The Drainaps are Attacking, the Sky is Purple, and there is Nothing you can Do!!!

As you are very smart indeed you immediately realize that one of the statements in the notice is a lie. But which one?

You have probably noticed by now that this is a Ski Lodge. But it is not an ordinary kind of ski lodge. Everyone who joins makes mischief of some sort, whether it be that they steal things, constantly sets up pranks, spy on people, or are merely a murderer. By process of elimination you must figure out who the murderer/s is/are (the number of people who commit each sort of crime will depend on who joins). Meanwhile, very strange things are going on... more details will be given when spots are full.
