After filling out this form, I can make a separate thread where we can work out all the various what's and how's.
Note: I'm better at animals than I am at people, but I can do decent people. I will post an animal example and a people example shortly.
I also have a Cover Art service opening soon, which will be for more complicated covers, but if you just want to request a simple drawn one, feel free! Use the sheet above, putting 'Book Cover' in the What do you want Illustrated place.

Super cool! Funny--I've actually been wanting to do a map for my book, but I'm not that great at drawing maps. So....
Book Title: Stone's Curse
Book Synopsis: If it's a map, do I need to fill it out...? I will anyway. Sorry if I give you spoilers. I may be posting it on Inkwell/BaB once I finish revising it. (BTW, this will be very brief, I'm short on time)
So, this girl, named Everinne Windsong, lives in the middle of a forest with her grandfather. He dies, leaving Everinne with a mysterious blue stone that he made her promise to protect with her life. She then boards up their cottage and leaves, travelling through the woods and several villages before coming to the Great Plain, which is...you know what? May I just give you a rough sketch of the areas and places in Stone's Curse? It's going to take a long time if I try to explain it all out. I'm very bad at giving brief summaries.
Main Charries: Everinne Windsong, a human; Bernath, an elf; Lillibet, and elf; Lord Charl Castello, and elf.
Finished or still In Progress: I finished the story itself, but I'm still working on revising it.
Estimated Number of Pages: (optional) About....sixty typed?
What do you want Illustrated: Two maps, one of Everinne's part of the human world and one of Carieleth, the elf world...but just the bits that she travels through.
Minor Details: Can I show you in the picture?
If this isn't alright with you, just tell me and I will do my best to fill out a synopsis/etc.
But if it's fine, I'll draw out the rough draft of the maps and have them to you on next Saturday or Sunday.

Sounds great, Leafpool! I may not be the best at drawing maps, but I'll try hard and try I get it to you soon! The sketches would be just fine, in fact, probably more effective than a written synopsis. No promisies about timing, however. I can be a bit slow... ;-)

Okay! Here is the example of a person. He's actually a charrie from one of my books.
(February 12, 2017 - 6:30 pm)
And here's the animal example. It's also a Charrie. I did a sorta collage sketch with different poses and stuff, and it was a small-ish page to start, so the more I ran out of room and tried to squeeze a sketch in, the worse I got. (Inspired by Viola?'s amazing drawings on Kyngdom, because she does a collage of different poses and such, and I thought I might try it.)

Oh my goodness, I almost made a thread exactly like this last year!!!! But I didn't have time to finish making it, so I just gave up. How's that for perserverence? XP
I might need my book cover illustrated one day! When I'm done with the rough draft of my book, of course, which should be sometime this year. (My mom is making me write it for school...XD My deadline is my next birthday!)

Lol! I write my books for school, too, but no deadlines! Oh, the stress just thinking about it! XD Well, anyway, I'd be glad to do your book cover! In fact, I just posted my cover art thread!
(February 13, 2017 - 2:45 pm)
Actually, I don't think I'm ready for a map. I feel like my book will change too much during revising, and then the map might not fit it. Sorry.
