Janet Devlin~PVRIS~Alessi

Janet Devlin~PVRIS~Alessia Cara if you don't know her

So, I'm here with some new music recommendations (woo!), so I'll try to keep it quick but honestly these people are amazing.

1. Janet Devlin

You may remember her from The X Factor, if you watched that show. Well, she's this girl from Ireland, a singer and songwriter, and she has one of the best voices I've ever heard! Her songs are so touching and real, and if you go on YouTube and read how she responds to people's comments on her videos you can tell that she's a really sweet person and a good role model. Please try listening to her! Some songs to start you off: Nothing Lost, Nothing Found; Whiskey Lullabies(there is a version of this in Irish); Outernet Song; or Delicate.

A bit about her actual music- it's very happy/acoustic, with a celtic feel. Which is great if you're like me and need a break from all the depressing music you listen to :)

2. PVRIS (which is pronounced Paris)

I'd compare this band to Paramore, but you may not have heard of them, either. The band is made up of 2 guys, Alex Babinski (keyboard) and Brian Macdonald (bass guitar), and an awesome lead singer named Lynn Gunn. They have one album so far, White Noise, which has 10 songs on it, and all of them are honestly amazing. They have a few acoustic songs as well, which are just as good. Lynn has a unique voice- try listening to them! Some songs to start you off: St. Patrick; Eyelids; or White Noise. If you like acoustic better: Mind Over Matter or Demon Limbs.

A bit about their music- has some awesome guitar playing, more rock in some songs and more alternative in others. These songs can really get you fired up and are great for inspiration, I think.

And finally, someone who you've probably heard of-

3. Alessia Cara

Okay, before I even start talking about her music, I want to say that she is an amazing role model. She does all these anti-bullying videos and her song 'Scars to Your Beautiful' talks about how tough it is to fit into society. She's very relateable- especially to introverts, with her song 'Here'. All of her songs make me smile when I listen to them, and they don't just have good lyrics, but beautiful music, too. Her voice is amazing. Please, please listen to her if you haven't already- you won't regret it.

Some songs to start you off: Scars To Your Beautiful; Four Pink Walls; Here; or Stone.

Also, she did a version of the song 'How Far I'll Go" from Disney's Moana, which is absolutely amazing! I definitely recommend it.

~~~
Sorry that this is so long, and that it's probably really badly put together because I got about two hours of sleep last night, but thanks for reading. Feel free to post your own recommendations- I'm always looking for them!
Cool, Bluebirds! I love Alessia Cara! Sidenote: If you like Alesdia Cara, I'd also recommend Halsey and Daya!
Halsey is one of my favorite singers! I like a few of Daya's songs, as well.
