Draw your OC/OTP/Squad

Draw your OC/OTP/Squad Challenge

If you don't know, OC stands for Original character. I've been seeing these challenges all over the place that give you lists of ideas for drawing them, and I decided to do one. (I'll post a picture when this threads shows up) It was really fun! So, I thought I'd challenge you all to draw one of your OCs using a few of these ideas and post them on here. Here are a few:

Draw your OC...

1. As a baby/little kid (or older if they already are one)

2. Genderbent

3. Eating/drinking something

4. As an animal (or a human if they already are one)

5. With wings (or without if they already have them)

6. As royalty (or poor/peasant if they already are)

7. In clothes from another time period

8. In the morning/tired

9. With their best friend or love interest

10. In a halloween costume

11. Doing one of their hobbies

12. In school/work clothes

13. As a mythical creature (e.g. mermaid, centaur)

13. In formal wear

14. Sleeping

15. Dancing

16. Listening to music

17. At a park

18. With a pet

19. Swimming/in swim wear

20. In their favorite place

21. On Vacation

22. In chibi style

23. Crying/upset

24. With some type of injury/sickness

25. In winter clothes

26. In summer clothes

27. With a personality switch

28. Doing (or attempting to do) gymnastics

29. Making a weird face

30. Meditating

31. Doing a camping/outdoor activity

32. In a party outfit

33. In work out clothes

34. Playing a sport

35. In something they would never wear or think is ridiculous

I can't wait to see what you guys do! Thanks for reading!

These are amazing! I love all of them. Do you have any tips on how to make your character look the same each time? I have trouble making mine look like the same people when I draw them over and over.

Hm, usually I just use a general and simple base and then add distinguishing features that make the character what they are. Like for Ghost Star, I use a normal cat base and add things like the cheek and head fur, longer tail, and white eyes.

This is such a good idea, Bluebird! I'm gonna do this once I get the chance! I'll use my OC, Shyrd, the Digital Angel... yes, I was listening to the song while inventing her.

And this is when I start bitterly regretting my absense of drawing skills... *blushes and moves into the background*

OH MY GANDALF THIS IS AMAZING. I will probably horribly butcher any of my OCs I try to do, but I will try to draw them!

Hey y'alls! Here's another page full of sketches of my OC, Gray. I should've numbered them. Oh well. Left to right, top to bottom, here is what I did-

16. Listening to music (and conducting with a pencil)

8. In the morning

23. Crying/upset (he is hugging his little bro)

13. In formal wear

1. As a baby

In the rain (which is one I just made up)

18. With a pet, his cat Lincoln

28. Doing gymnastics

3. Drinking something

Fighting (another one I just made up)

7. In clothes from another time period (steampunk)

Being outsmarted by a pen (something totally random I made up just to fill up space)

2. Genderbent- his name as a girl would be Grace

11. Doing one of his hobbies (photography)

MY GOSH BLUEBIRD! These are just so good! Why, oh, why can't I draw like that???? I guess I'll just have to keep practicing!

My favorites are the music one, the pen one (love the expression!), the rain one, and the drink one!

Wow Bluebird, these are amazing! My favourites are the one where he's hugging his brother, and the one in the rain. All of my drawings always end up looking cartoon-ish.

Oh my Gandalf! My AE is named Grey! (Only with an E instead of an A) the universe if FULL of coincidences. Cool. Also, still confused as to what an OC is... explinations anyone?

Thank you very much, Cocklerburr, Riddler, and DRAGON! An OC is your original character- it can be one in a story you're writing or just a random character you made up without a story. Also, DRAGON, it's cool that we have OCs with the same name!

2. In a (tea) party outfit

3. In a halloween costume

4. Drinking boba tea/ listening to music

Actually, it's my AE that is named Grey, I don't have an OC. Still cool though :)

Well, technically, an AE is an OC, because you made him up, and he's a character. :)
