Star Wars Contest!!!
Star Wars Contest!!!
I was inspired to make a contest for devoted Star Wars trilogy fans by Cyprus, Cho Chang, and Leafpool on Cyprus' thread on DtE labeled "Hey everyone! I'm". So, enough chit-chat; let the contest begin!
Rules:
NO reading the answers online or watching the movies again. If you claim to be the ultimate fan, you should know these.
We need to try to post around the same time; I'm setting the date as the 30th, which is a Saturday. If you cannot make that date, let me know. So, DON'T post the answers until then, PLEASE!
Also, anyone may join, but please post that you are joining. I am reserving spots for the three people I mentioned above; they have 4 days to post that they are joining. But there are 5 spots open for everyone else to join!
SPOILER ALERT
Here are the contest questions:
1. Who is older? Luke or Leia? (I'm not sure if this is in the movies; if not, don't cheat! Just leave it blank)
2. Who is their mother?
3. Who is their father? Give both of his names.
4. How old is Yoda when he dies? Hints: no more than 1000 years, no less than 100 years.
5. How does Obi-Wan Kenobi die?
6. What does Leia say to Hans when she freed him from the freeze in Jabba the Huts place? Prompt: Hans says, "Who are you?"
7. What was the dark side political group called?
8. What is Hans Solo's friend/buddy called? Furry dude.
9. Spelling counts in this, because it's so easy: what is Hans Solo's ship called?
10. On which planet does Luke find Yoda? This one is worth 3 points, the rest of the questions are worth 1 each.

(July 23, 2016 - 3:16 pm)

Ugh. Shouldn't have read this thread. Obi-Wan AND Yoda die?! I only watched the newest movie... and I know nothing about the others. I forgot they sort of go backwards, this newest being sort of the oldest. Right?
BUT WHY. Why does Obi-Won and Yoda die...?
Oh, and no worries. I'm not joining this (I'd fail, terribly fail). I just wanted to read it, then I saw about the deaths and sort of freaked.

sorry Ashlee! Admins, would you mind putting "Spoiler" at the top?
Done.

Thank you! Now we can keep other curious thread-reading people from dying of surprise.
(July 24, 2016 - 1:45 pm)
Oh! Okay, I'm joining! Yay for Star Wars! Thank you for making it a Saturday, because I'll be gone from Monday to Friday and the 30th is the first day that I'll be able to post. And I think I know the answers to most of these even though I haven't watched the Star Wars series all the way through for a while. And I'm pretty sure #1 is in the movies.
(July 24, 2016 - 1:08 pm)
So joining. This'll be fun.
