I love Jaylah, she's great. I also completely ship her with Scotty. DON'T JUDGE ME!

I also love that they brought in the death of Leonard Nimoy/Ambassador Spock. It was wonderfully played out, and Bones was adorable with "Spock, you're delirious!"

Sulu's adopted daughter (and maybe husband?) was ADORABLE.

Also, SULU HEADBANGING TO HEAVY METAL WHILE DESTROYING A SWARM OF ALIENS.

JUST SULU IN GENERAL.

OH GOODNESS! I TOTALLY FORGOT ABOUT THAT! WHEN MY DAD GETS BACK FROM A BUSINESS MEETING TOMORROW I WILL PLEAD FOR HIM TO TAKE ME TO SEE IT! AAAHHHHHH!!!!! YAAAYYY!

And it has the originals? Yes. *Shoots fist up into the air* Captain Kirk forever! And Sulu in general is awesome. And Scotty in general is super awesome. SCOOOOTTTYYYY!!!! "We need more power, Scotty!" "She's givn' it all she's got, Cap'n!" Hooray! I need to re-watch the originals after I finish the last two episodes of Next Generation.

Sulu adopts a daughter? Whaaaattttt? Okay I know I shouldn't have read this since it said Huge Spoilers but I JUST COULDN'T RESIST FOR GANDALF'S SAKE! Sulu headbanging to havy metal while destroying a swarm of aliens? Sounds hilarious. I watched the trailer but can't wait to see the real thing.

This blasted movie is the reason that "Sabotage" by the Beastie Boys is stuck in my head, darnit! IT WAS SO GOOD THOUGH.

BROOKE THIS MOVIE WAS AMAZING. I WATCHED IT YESTERDAY.

(yes, I don't care that I've watched one episode of Star Trek. I followed.)

Now that you've mentioned Jotty it sounds perfect. xD  I hope they keep Jaylah, 'cause she was pretty awesome. "I like the beats and shouting!"

The "Spock, you're delirious!" was awesome. Honestly, I just liked the whole relationship between Bones and Spock, especially when Spock just casually suggested to stick them together again when flying that ship the second time. Spock's literal thinking and Bones's sarcasm was pretty amazing.

I think it was very well-executed in general.

I saw this movie with my sister (who goes by Starseeker on here, though she's not around much), my mom, and a few of my mom's friends on Sunday! So good! I loved the part about Uhura's necklace!
