So, I was just going to put away Shifting and Volcano for good in favor of some imaginary friends I made up, Phantom, Traveler, and Masquerade, and some friends on a different writing forum called Quotev, and a few IRL friends.
Then I was reminded of this place.
Hi again, to those who knew me, Somebody, and nice to meet you if you don't.
Man, I look at these threads, and remember a simpler time. A more innocent time.
A distant time.
Who am I now? A different Somebody from the one you met on the Chatterbox so long ago. I'm a 12-year-old, fanfiction-writing, ship-obsessed fangirl. I listen to Japanese voice synthesizers sing songs about dark topics. I ship everything that moves. And my language has... ah... gotten more free, shall I say.
Middle school in the GT program. Five classrooms a day. A locker full of papers, in which it's impossible to find anything. A demanding workload-- at ANY GIVEN MOMENT, we're working at one project or another. (Right now I'm doing a Who Am I project for ELA, which through paragraph responses and reading logs has become my least favorite class.) And the people... we mingle with the normal 6th graders for music and PE, and they hate us.
I am such an egotist, to spend so much time talking about myself! Gomen ne. (That means "sorry" in Japanese. I am such a weeb.) How is everyone here? Who's still here, who has left? Anything interesting happen? I see there are multiple threads on the topic of politics, and I'll just say straight up that I think all three leading candidates are horrible. I'd gladly write long rants on each of them. Ah, now I'm back to talking about myself!

I remember you, Bibliophile!
I came up with "who cares" because, when I made my first few comments, I wasn't prepared to become part of the community. That's also why I didn't put in as much thought into my name and location, either. I'm glad for my name choice, though-- I actually go by "Somebody" in real life now! And I'm pretty sure my thinking at the time was closer to the latter, to answer your question!

You're back! I've missed Volcano and Shifting, they always make me laugh. You haven't missed a lot, just oh, the HUGE GIANT AND TOTALLY INSANE AE Crush Not-Really-a-War, lots of new RPs, several new CBers, Ruby M. is back, Biblio and I are recreating Rosebud's Cricket News, and I got another AE. Her name is Mandy, she loves muffins, soap operas, tripping people, and isn't quite insane but just doesn't have a lot of common sense.
