The last of the drawings for that Hebrew project I can put on the CB (one of my rules for clothing was no curse words so I has a censored word so the word isn't actually on the shirt but it's implied bc that was the not allowed drawing, this one though is fine)

This is just a random drawing I did bc I wanted to draw? I don’t know I don't have anything to say abt it? I mean I'm rly proud of it and I love the color scheme but like yeah. It's not a pre-existing character of mine or anyone else's, didn't try smth new, wasn't for a project... I don’t know I like it tho the colors are nice and I like the pose I chose 

This is actually sorta a character of mine. Her name is Veronica, and she was created on my school trip with my friend Applecat and two others. I played Veronica, applecat was this weird guy named Darryl, and they are both my friend A's character, Jessica's exes who are now dating even tho Veronica is a closeted lesbian and Darryl is annoying (applecat isn't ofc), and then there's another character, Milena, my friend Rose's character in the story too but yeah. I dressed up as Veronica one day on that trip, flipping my hair over like that with black pants and a black (though in the drawing it's navy blue) tank top under a plaid purple/green/blue/red button up tied at the waist. She is ~sassy~ and yeah :)

So a lot of my art recently has been on my face (aka eyemake up, or in the case of yesterday and today, just makeup (was a vampire yesterday to redo this lip sync for this line-and now first verse&chorus of Vampire Money, today I am one of the fae)) so ofc that's a no for the CB, and I have this one thing I did for core where I had to draw 5 important scenes in a book I read. Also a bunch of my drawings have been in a series (I started this nine muses thing months ago and said I'd only post it when I finish so that'll be at the end of the summer bc I've got camp soon, even tho I have just two or three more to do) (I also started this pride flags as ppl thing but I've only done two out of the 22 I have planned so that might take a year lol). 

Okay so here's that core drawing I did.

I used paint, alcohol markers, my inking pen ofc, and colored pencils for this. The reason why the "no" is so prominent is partially to tie it to the next one. I rly wanted the background to be dark bc not only was the actual setting in the dark but also so that the no and the character would rly stand out. I tried to make it so that the bed and stuff would be muted too so that her bright pink/red outfit would rly pop. Also throughout my entire drawing series, I made it so that her clothing would go through the rainbow through time. 

This is the second (technically the last but second of the best ones) of the drawings for core. In the book, the word "Yes!" is actually rly rly big on the page, but it also mimics/calls back to the "no." in the previous piece. In a diff drawing, when she sees dancers/learns abt dancing for the first time, the dancers (as the book says) are wearing purple and gold. This is the last of the drawings, and the end of her journey that's captured in the book, so she is wearing purple as well, and the word is in gold (also to symbolize how she got the combination right) (also in a dif drawing she sees this one girl by herself in the dance studio, so I made that girl wear purple as well) The scene is her dancing across the floor and getting it right-so I drew her dancing across the floor, with the rainbow around her to symbolize her entire journey. In the first three movements, the colors envelop her bc it is the past, but the purple of the last one doesn't. I also used paint, alcohol markers, inking pen, and colored pencils for this. The background is light, and the piece is colorful overall, in contrast to the preceding piece to compare the two. Uhhh yeah I rly like it and worked very hard on these two

another drawing of the same OC... i just love drawing him. anyhow here's him being mildly disgusted at army coffee. side note those green cuffs on his coat are almost certainly historically inaccurate but i need there to be some green on his uniform and there are some apocryphal instances of green cuffs or linings.
