Art stuff thread starting...NOW! If you draw stuff, you can post it here! I draw in a sort of anime/manga/toon style, but if you don't, don't let that stop you from posting your stuff! I would love to see other people's art so post away! They can be OCs, fan art, or just random stuff. You can use any media, including digital, like I do! Just to let you chatterboxers know, I started this thread so we can share our tricks of the trade with each other. Feel free to: ask questions about how to draw certain things, post techniques, share art, and mostly HAVE FUN! If you draw your OCs, feel free to share information about them such as their names and that sort of thing. Same goes for fan art since not all of us know where these characters are from. You don't have to be polished with your art. I myself am just a beginner at anime/manga/toon. I'm not good at hands so if any of my hands looks particularly cruddy, you know why. I also struggle sometimes with feet so same goes for that. If any of you know how to draw a particularly good hand or foot, feel free to share your trick for it.

..sorry, just had to point out that pun. :) I'm not at all obsessed with slime. But all my friends at my old school are!! I do find it fascinating how you can just whip up such an interesting substance with like glue and dishwasher soap or whatever and water and stuff though!!
@Endless, besides Echo, weren't you also Echo Hallowswift and Bluebird (yay regular poetry thread!!) too? Just wondering

I suffered from a bad bout of art block and I just could not draw anything. It was very very frustrating. But I'm back now so never fear! (This is the first thing I've drawn since art block)

here's my drawing for inktober 11, "wander". i did it digitally, so i guess it's not technically ink, but i only used the brushes in the inks category so i guess it counts :D

Okay so I mentioned before that I am very obsessed with my charries I am making that live in the Riordanverse (well, they all live at chb, except for Gwen Dahlia, who's a Hunter of Artemis). So today, because school was boring and whatnot, I deicded to doodle one in my notebook. Then I colored that one in. Then I drew another. And now I have five charries colored in my Core notebook. Here they are (name, godly parent, pronouns, one cool fact [or more]):
- Isa (I have yet to find a last name), child of Iris, ze/zem (ze has cool eyes, very good for those of us who have trouble reading emotions, one quick glance at them, and there you have what Isa's feelin' [aka they change color depending on emotion]
- Lux Highlander, child of Hephaestus, they/them, loves cassettes (like, their bag has cassettes painted on it, cassette shirts, earrings, etc.), also crushin' hard on my other charrie Pheobe (below)
- Pheobe (have yet to find last name), daughter of Apollo, she/her, seems very happy-go-lucky and confident, but in reality, has no self-esteem and is terrifyed of rejection, also goes into the strawberry fields at night to stargaze and cry often
- Helen Paige Olson, child of Athena, she/they, signature "thing" is big, funky earrings (that I forgot in the drawing, oops), also her middle name is like a page in a book, get it?
- Gabriela "Grape" Dion Moore, daughter of Dionysus, she/her (but is questioning it [maybe she/they?]), okay so I haven't figured much out about her but gosh I love her she's so cuuuuuuttttteeeeeeee, also yes she's 15, that's grape juice, not wine. Also yes I named one of my charries "Grape". oh and her middle name came from when I was trying to find a good name for her, I was like to my friend "I can't decide on a name. The only name I can think of is Grape, but gosh I love this Dion-girl" b/c dion is like DIONysus? okay yeah that was a long explaination but I love her

Okay so here's another of my awesome charries, Charlie Woods (e/they). E is a child of Hephaestus. They're also a bit of a knock-off Leo Valdez, not just with godly parent and looks and powers, but also backstory... Aka mom died when e was 7, went to live with aunt and uncle, came out as trans, and was disowned.... I feel bad for the kid... Why did I do this to em... ANYWAYS yeah idk how to draw overalls sorry 'bout that. but they are pretty cute. (my brain: not as cute as Grape or Lux... Me: yes, but shut up brain, this is about Charlie!!)
