Art stuff thread starting...NOW! If you draw stuff, you can post it here! I draw in a sort of anime/manga/toon style, but if you don't, don't let that stop you from posting your stuff! I would love to see other people's art so post away! They can be OCs, fan art, or just random stuff. You can use any media, including digital, like I do! Just to let you chatterboxers know, I started this thread so we can share our tricks of the trade with each other. Feel free to: ask questions about how to draw certain things, post techniques, share art, and mostly HAVE FUN! If you draw your OCs, feel free to share information about them such as their names and that sort of thing. Same goes for fan art since not all of us know where these characters are from. You don't have to be polished with your art. I myself am just a beginner at anime/manga/toon. I'm not good at hands so if any of my hands looks particularly cruddy, you know why. I also struggle sometimes with feet so same goes for that. If any of you know how to draw a particularly good hand or foot, feel free to share your trick for it.

mmore manga...this is not colored because I was kinda scared I would wreck the drawing. I've been experimenting with blending markers and color pencil, and neither has turned out exactly the way I intended. But still.

@Stardust Oh, that's cute! I like the simple aesthetic. Also, YOU HAVE COPICS??? I just got a skin tone set as a present, and I'm in love with them. How are you liking them?
@Alex Ooh, that's interesting! Is it of someone opening their eyes to see the pink girl in front of them? I love the blurry effect, it's very cool and it adds to the drama a lot!

@Evergreen That's so cool! You're great at manga. I love her eyes, and the little poofy things in the hair! What kind of blending markers do you have, by the way? If they're alcohol-based markers, that's what I usually use for art so maybe I could give you some tips?
@Spellbound Wow, great job! The hands are amazing! The fingers are perhaps a bit short, but it's still much better than I could do. That eye is really great as well! That drawing book looks like it really helped you and Luna-Starr. Good job!

@Agent Winter your drawings are so cool! Is she a character in a novel/story, by the way? My markers aren't alcohol-based, but I'd still be happy to take tips, if you have any...
@Luna-Starr and Spellbound, you have the "How to Draw in 30 Days" book by Mark Kistler, I believe? I have that book too! I really like the wave drawing tutorials...

@Cerinthe Nice job on the mermaid! She looks so graceful and pretty! The rock she's leaning on looks really realistic, too. And hey, I remember Andaylia! She looks great in your style! Also, I think the dragon looks really cool, but if you're going to shade it I might recommend using the side of your pencil so the shading doesn't look so scratchy? If that makes sense at all. Also, try and figure out where your light source is, bc shadows will be in the places farthest from the light source.
Here's something I drew recently-ish. It's my imagining of a modern Medusa. It was also for the Inktober52 prompt Snake.
