Art stuff thread starting...NOW! If you draw stuff, you can post it here! I draw in a sort of anime/manga/toon style, but if you don't, don't let that stop you from posting your stuff! I would love to see other people's art so post away! They can be OCs, fan art, or just random stuff. You can use any media, including digital, like I do! Just to let you chatterboxers know, I started this thread so we can share our tricks of the trade with each other. Feel free to: ask questions about how to draw certain things, post techniques, share art, and mostly HAVE FUN! If you draw your OCs, feel free to share information about them such as their names and that sort of thing. Same goes for fan art since not all of us know where these characters are from. You don't have to be polished with your art. I myself am just a beginner at anime/manga/toon. I'm not good at hands so if any of my hands looks particularly cruddy, you know why. I also struggle sometimes with feet so same goes for that. If any of you know how to draw a particularly good hand or foot, feel free to share your trick for it.

Hey, everyone! I've never posted here before but I do occasionally come here and look at all the amazing artwork(it's all SO good!!). But I've been drawing more and I just drew this and I gonna share it! This is my CATCHPAE Miza in human form (most of the time she's a cat).

Ah, I love making these. Yes, the person on the left is Sebastian ;) Also, no, I did not make the post that I drew over, but I did make the drawings. Hope that’s ok!! (Also, birds keep flying into my windows and it’s a horrifing sight :()

So this is my first attempt at using some markers and such. I hate the arm, but other than that I thought it turned out well. What do y’all think? Any tips?

And @everyone else who requested on my name lettering thread: first of all, I’m very sorry about the delay. I’ve been really stressed out with life and school (and I sort of keep forgetting :O) but that’s no excuse. Anyway, I’m trying to get back on top of those requests, and @Star and Jith, I finished yours earlier today and posted them on the thread. Unfortunately, the thread is on the third page and it’ll probably take me awhile to top it, which is why I’m letting you know all this here, on the art thread. So, yeah.

Hey there, everyone! I haven't shown up in a little while here-- I got distracted with the reunion and all. Plus, I became unhappy with my art, and so I started revamping it. Here's a pic of something I was working on yesterday-- this particular pic shows my sort of new drawing process. Far left, a fully colored and finished drawing; in the middle, a blocked out anatomy base sketch; and on the right, an inked-over final sketch. In order, I'd start with the anatomy blocking based on a picture, then I'd trace a neater outline with pencil and erase the anatomy blocking. Then I'd ink and color appropriately. (All of the white stuff is me blocking out a character name as well as my signature, since I sign my art in my CBer name.)

I did an art!
I'm very proud of it, and it's actually for the doodle for Google contest but I want show everyone here it too. However, the contest rules state that submissions can't be published elsewhere and I didn't know if posting art here counts as publication. Anyone know?
I'm the meantime, here's an Eskimo I drew a year ago.
I think you'd need to ask the Google contest people about that.

@Aquamarine: hmmm... yes, I suppose so. I guess I do have two identities. Some people believe that this pseudonym is a separate CBer instead of just a pseudonym (which is untrue by the way-- I am a current, active CBer who uses this pseudonym for art.) Do you have any guesses as to who I am? I probably won't confirm or deny, but it's interesting to see who people think I am. Some people know or have guessed, from my writing style or from what I've said. Some people also have hazy ideas or random guesses.
This is a piece showing off a watercolor piece I just finished tonight! Top left is the original reference pic (Admins, is this okay? Top left is not my own picture but it is a stock photo which I believe is free for use considering it's on a free reference photo site), top right is my anatomy blocking, bottom left is final sketch, bottom right is more or less finished product.
Please delete the reference photo and we'll post the drawings. It's not your photo, plus it's a photo of a person, which we don't allow.
