Art stuff thread starting...NOW! If you draw stuff, you can post it here! I draw in a sort of anime/manga/toon style, but if you don't, don't let that stop you from posting your stuff! I would love to see other people's art so post away! They can be OCs, fan art, or just random stuff. You can use any media, including digital, like I do! Just to let you chatterboxers know, I started this thread so we can share our tricks of the trade with each other. Feel free to: ask questions about how to draw certain things, post techniques, share art, and mostly HAVE FUN! If you draw your OCs, feel free to share information about them such as their names and that sort of thing. Same goes for fan art since not all of us know where these characters are from. You don't have to be polished with your art. I myself am just a beginner at anime/manga/toon. I'm not good at hands so if any of my hands looks particularly cruddy, you know why. I also struggle sometimes with feet so same goes for that. If any of you know how to draw a particularly good hand or foot, feel free to share your trick for it.

Well, this seems to be the thread for me! I'm new (been here before but I'd rather not say who I was) so I guess I'll just post my art here. Please excuse that little peice of paper up there on my watercolor picture, since I have this posted on my PaigeeWorld and I'm to lazy to take another picture of it with a different paper thingy.
The character's name is Starflower. I'd some day like to shell her as an abjd doll.
Banba says zxmy. I have not the slightest clue as to what it means.

OMG-SHARP THIS IS ADORABLE
I love the style! The character seems super cute and chibi, like it's supposed to be in a chibi anime or a cartoon or something! The no-linework thing also seems to be working in your favor!

Thank you Lucy B! I actually did use lines but they are very light and in pencil. They're much easier to see when you see it in person. Also, this was actually just a chibi version of the actual character, who has slightly more realistic but still childlike proportions as she is only age of eight.

This makes me want to try drawing chibi in the computer.
Also, is anyone else having a heck of a hard time voting for the Doodle for Google results? I tried to vote today but I got stuck somewhere around the 8 and 9th grade results. And I just can't with the 10th-12th grade results. Uggh. Mostly all I can do is eliminate the two or three that I'm not going to vote for, and then sit and stare at the screen for a couple minutes. Almost all of the results in between 8th and 12th grade are amazing. The one from NC in the 8/9th grade section has some pretty awesome hands....and then there's the Pennsylvania one, which is amazing....and then I saw the one from Ohio, and I kinda just got upset...not about the picture, but about the sheer challenge of trying to pick just one. And for the 10-12th grade range, I feel like mayyyybe I should be biased and vote for the one from Maine, which is an exceptional piece of art anyway, but then there's also the one from Massachusetts which I feel like I can really relate to.
I'm going to go play Minecraft now. I just can't fathom this art.

@Pooki P.: Wow, that's amazing! I got back into drawing manga a few days ago but I haven't done anything chibi yet. You've inspired me!
I was trying to write a poem for my English class, but this is all that happened. It's not technically a piece of artwork, but it is aesthetically pleasing to me for some reason, so I thought I'd post it here.

I think I will post one of my digital drawings now. I hope posting two drawing within a week's span isn't spam, but I'm just kind of excited... :3
Anyway, this here is my OC Bunko. Out of many of my characters, I find myself identifying with him quite a lot. He's my little rainbow boi!

Of course! If it's art, it belongs here! Also, I really love your style! It's super cute and has a lot of personality! I've tried and failed so many times to draw like that, so I have a real appreciation for how difficult it is. Your's is perfect! I can't wait to see more!
