(Subject not going through....Third time's the charm...??)
Art stuff thread starting...NOW! If you draw stuff, you can post it here! I draw in a sort of anime/manga/toon style, but if you don't, don't let that stop you from posting your stuff! I would love to see other people's art so post away! They can be OCs, fan art, or just random stuff. You can use any media, including digital, like I do! Just to let you chatterboxers know, I started this thread so we can share our tricks of the trade with each other. Feel free to: ask questions about how to draw certain things, post techniques, share art, and mostly HAVE FUN! If you draw your OCs, feel free to share information about them such as their names and that sort of thing. Same goes for fan art since not all of us know where these characters are from. You don't have to be polished with your art. I myself am just a beginner at anime/manga/toon. I'm not good at hands so if any of my hands looks particularly cruddy, you know why. I also struggle sometimes with feet so same goes for that. If any of you know how to draw a particularly good hand or foot, feel free to share your trick for it.

Oh, do I spot art by Viola? and Bluebird? Also, your collage style is really cool. I'm going to check out Wordle right now.
P.S. I've been watching this thread since forever, I just haven't really posted anything. Amazing art, everyone (and I mean EVERY ONE of you)! Maybe one day I'll post some of my own?

Here's a random picture of a sunrise, because I feel like I should post something. I have a lot of sunrise pictures with this telephone pole in the middle, but this one is my favorite. In real life the sky looked really red/orange and teal, but unfortunately my IPod wouldn't capture that.

This is an anime I drew and I am actually really proud of it. I have no idea what it is from, though. Back when I was super crazy about drawing anime my sister sent a picture to me for me to draw. I used it as a reference, but I have no idea who it is or what it is from.

WIP of a face I've been painting. She doesn't have eyelashes or eyebrows yet, which is the part I always seem to mess up D: I'll probably end up either painting flowers (or something else... any ideas?) around her head or printing them off and sticking them on.

June, that's not that bad! I love her shirt! My art teacher always says that if you don't make mistakes then you won't get better, though as a perfectionist I find that rather hard to stomach. Sigh.
Anyway, just keep practising and your drawings will improve. I would recommend copying from photos or even other peoples' sketches-- it does seem a bit like cheating, but it has definitely helped me in technique and shading. Another good way to practice is to take a black and white photo, print it out, and trace some of the basic outlines then fill in the rest on your own. If you practice this way you will soon find that you can copy the photos without having to trace them. =)

@Bluebird, nope! It's a...well darn, now I forget what it is. I'll have to check. Anyway, I think I'll make a thread about the concert sometime soon! It was amazing. --!!!!!
Also, that face is incredible. It looks so professional! And the hand-lettering is awesome. Were you just doing random words?
