Chatterbox: Pudding's Place

 **Song playing right

**Song playing right now : Escape to the stars- Cinema Bizarre**

Has anyone out there ever heard of that band? (Most people haven't) It's pretty weird, it's a German band, but I just LOVE this song !!!

Right now my favorite band is Evanescence. Most people have heard of it, right? It's just great!!! My favorite songs of theirs are: "going under", "where will you go?" and "bring me to life". Unfortunately I only have one CD of theirs, Origin :-(. Well, I also have the CD Anywhere but Home, but since it's a live CD I don't like it much and never listen to it.

My other favorite songs (not Evanescence) are: Monsoon (tokio hotel), Love songs (they kill me), Forever or Never (both Cinema bizarre) it's my life (Bon Jovi) Animal I have become ( three days grace) Boulevard of broken dreams ( green day), Relax, take it easy (Mika), stupid girl (pink), and, of course, Escape to the stars!!!!! Anyone else ever heard of/like these songs/groups??? I just love 'em!!!

Ooh, you have Origin? *jealousness* lucky. I bought Fallen, Anywhere but Home, and The Open Door from iTunes (yay iTunes!!!) but Origin isn't on there. And the nearest music store is in the next county. *sigh* this is what comes of living in Wyoming!

I have to disagree with you about AbH, though. I think Amy Lee sounds excellent live, unlike *cough* some people I could mention.

Anyway, never heard of Cinema Bizarre... But then I've never heard of anything else on your list other than Evanescence so... *shrugs* I just have... different... tastes in music.

Like fore example, at any given time of the day, I may be listening to Sweeney Todd, Wicked, Les Mis, Phantom, Spamalot, etc, or Evanescence or Within Temptation or suchlike, or soundtracks from movies like Pirates of the Caribbean or Narnia, or Housemartins.

My friends find it all very amusing. *rolls eyes* :)

...Currently, I'm listening to "A Little Priest" lol...

Oh yeah, I've been to Wyoming.... I just don't like live CDs, any live CDs. But yeah, Amy Lee is the best!!! I like Within Temptation, too!!! Though I've only heard the song "Stand My Ground" (it's what happens when you live in Spain). I have the Pirates of the Caribbean theme song as my cell phone tone! I just love that song. Anyway, why are your tastes in music amusing to your friends? They're perfectly normal to me...

No one has heard of Cinema Bizarre, but in Spain everyone's heard of Tokio Hotel.

My little sister Quinn's like that about live albums, too. And it vexes me so... :)

You have to understand, of course, most of my friends are hard-core ranch-bred horse-riding stereotype Wyomingites, who listen to country, country, more country, and occasionally popular over-played "music" that makes my ears bleed. Heck, I'm probably the only student in my 200-person high school who even knows who Housemartins ARE.

Oh, and I looked up Cinema Bizarre. I'd probably listen to them on a somewhat-regular basis if I, you know, had some of their music. ;)

i don't have any of their music, I just listen to it on Youtube!!!!! Yeah, I know what you're talking about... Some of my friends are that way, too (not many), though in my case, it's Oregonians. I'm from Oregon, though I live in Spain. Some of my grandparents too... gave me a Carrie Underwood CD last Christmas.....¬¬. In my opinion, country is ok..... in small doses. And yeah, those songs..."music"... listen to them once, they're OK, twice, still OK, five times, starts to get boring, and sixty times... YOU'RE TIRED, SICK OF IT!!!!!! 200-people high school? That's not many! Do you like Wyoming at all? I would get pretty lonely living way out there... I'm a city girl. lol.

Oh about your comment on the HP books...... YES!!! We DO like darkness just as long as it loses, but the more darkness there is, the more exciting the story!!! lol

YouTube is my friend. :) As is Limewire, and iTunes, and the Internet, and my *precious* laptop of DOOM!!! and my iPod. Yay technology!

The trouble with country is there's not really that many subjects to sing about with a guitar accompaniment. Although it's all right in small doses, as you said.

We live in a tiiiiny little town in the Windriver Mountains - I think the population on the sign is like 1400? But we have more than that now (about 2000) due to the oil and gas boom. Ickick.

Anyway, Wyoming's all right, if a wee bit cold (mmm, subzero weather in October!). It would be way better if the nearest bookstore wasn't an hour and a half away, though. At least we have a good library. I'm not a city girl... I have a general distaste for people. Especially small children. Small children frighten me. *shivers*

This conversation is starting to meander off-topic ^_^

Ah, me likes it when darkness wins! I root for the villains, mostly, unless they're just despicable people who I would gladly hit with multiple Spike Pies of DOOM. But people rarely ever write villains like that.

...Like, for example, after Snape, my favorite HP character was Bellatrix. -_-

Yessss!!!!! I also love the internet and technology!!!! (Not the subject) but, I AM NOT A COMPUTER GEEK BY ANY STANDARDS!!!! Unfortunately I don't get much time on the computer, and I don't have a *beautiful* ipod (sniff, sniff) just an mp3 and a walkman (I am sooo out of date, but I can't afford an ipod, boohoo), a DS and a Wii (yesss...my beloved Wii!!!) It's pretty cold here, too, in Valladolid. It's also completely inland, and high up on a plain. Whoa, that the bookstore is that far is just TERRIBLE!!!! That's good 'bout the library. Ours here is just AWFUL! They don't even have HP book 6!!! It's TOTALLY out of date! So sad...

I think most small children are just annoying, especially when they start following you around...ugh. By the way... what are spike pies of DOOM? I like cute male villains like Draco Malfoy, but I don't neccesarily want them to win lol. i've never really read a book in which the dark side wins, though. My fave character was Ron.

Heh, I'm a computer geek. We've got more computers than we have family members, actually...

Spike pies of DOOM are usually presented like this:

/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\

\_(evil smiley)_/

They're quite nasty. :)

Yeah, I just don't have enough time on the computer :-(. H'mmm, Spike pies of doom don't seem like something I'd like to meet in a dark alley at night lol. Better watch out! They sure look scary :D.

WHOA!!!!  Limewire is NOT your friend!!!!!  It is an illegal site, that, the instant you go to the site, viruses and viruses start eating away at your computer!!  I know from experience!!  I got home one day, and I noticed that my brother had been using my computer.  He had apparently downloaded stuff, or whatever you do on Limewire, and slowly but surely, my computer became one big virus.  It took about two hours just to turn on, and, once it did, chances are likely that it wouldn't stay on for long.  It got to the point, where I never needed to hit the power off button to turn it off; it did it by itself. :)  So eventually we had to take it into the computer shop, aka Circuit City, and they had to do a complete virus scan, which included deleting everything I had on my computer, meaning, I lost all of the movies my friends and I made (that made them really, really mad!!), all my pictures, all my stories, and everything!! :(  Oh yeah, even though it cost over $300, my computer is working perfectly!!!!!  It's been almost a year now, and it has no viruses!! :)  If you don't believe me, ask the people at the closest computer repair shop; of course, you live in Wyoming, so that means driving like three hours away. But to everyone else, STAY AWAY FROM LIME WIRE!!!!! Oh yeah, my brother happened to go to it on my parents' and his own computer, too!!!  It ruined his computer even worse than mine; all his iTunes music he bought was lost forever!! (His iPod was broken, too!)  My parents still haven't fixed their computer yet, but all together, that would cost $900, just because of an illegal site!:(:(
