The snow falls
Chatterbox: Pudding's Place
The snow falls
The snow falls around your secluded form, shrouded in darkness. Each flake is different in it's way, and you content yourself with watching them dance down to their brethren upon the soiled earth. The cover of trees encircling you are merely silhouetted against the failing light, but you wait. Shivering with cold, your point, old-fashing trench coat just barely keeps in what little warmth you produce.
Nearby I wait, a smirk plastered across my face. "Just a few more to finish off," I coo, glancing at the darkened figure next to me. It stands like a porcelain doll, unmoving. "Go. Go find the remaining victims, and we shall set off."
It steps back into the darkness, leaving behind light footprints in the snow. I smile, hugging myself as I listen over the silence. Sure enough, your scream echoes throughout the lifeless forest, before shutting off quietly. Moments later, it appears next to me. "Take them all to the mansion when you are done." My voice seems out of place in the world.
It simply nods, dragging something behind it. You. You are still alive, but being taken to the mansion. My mansion. It is time to test these Chatterboxers, and find my new puppets.
Alright! There is no packing for this 'Horror Ski Lodge!' You can take whatever tools you have on you, and they might help you prevail in the future!
I will be using dice to determine who dies, who succeeds an action, and ect.
This is not your average Ski Lodge, and I will warn you. This is going to be one scary ride.

Great job, Puppeteer. I don't know if it was intended to (probably not), but it's hitting all my paranoia points, so A+ job.
(April 10, 2016 - 1:07 pm)
Nice, good thing the kitty wasn't on your keyboard, lol.
(April 8, 2016 - 10:45 pm)
R.I.P., Ballet.
I haven't been scared yet, but I'm probably just numb because of...
Well, anyway, it's a great story!
(April 9, 2016 - 5:49 am)
Aw... Ballet... you saved my life! (cries uncontrollably)
(April 9, 2016 - 6:14 pm)
Very nice!
l'm a boy, by the way.
(April 10, 2016 - 6:39 pm)
The suspenssssse....And yay me, I did something brave! (Ha, I thought I was going to be the first one to go.)
(April 10, 2016 - 9:52 pm)
Spine tingling! Poor Ballet, may she rest in piece. You did a brave thing. Do we know if she's really dead, or just in the clutches of the sinister Puppeteer? I'll probably be the next to go, I usually die soon after the Ski Lodge starts. I can't wait to see the AEs. Top notch work Puppeteer.
(April 11, 2016 - 10:18 am)
AHHHHHHHHHHH!!! I DIED!!!!! DARN YOU CREEPY PUPPETEER!!
(April 12, 2016 - 3:50 pm)
Alas, it is the way of the die. Day 2 shall come soon, for I am having slight difficulties writing it.
(April 12, 2016 - 5:14 pm)
These are not technically days, but let's call it a tradition.
Day 2 (Part 1 of 3)
She was falling, there was no doubt about it, but slowly. Her mournful
scream had reached no ears as darkness engulfed her and pressed in
around her. Darkness met Sho's wide eyes, but she could feel it working
around her and gently lowering her to the ground. It had the
consistency of molasses and didn't sting her eyes even though she
couldn't breathe.
She couldn't comprehend it. Her eyes could see nothing, but she felt it
moving around her despite that. It felt good as well but her breath was
running out.
Hoping that she was falling down and not some other direction, Sho began
to squirm about, looking for any sign of light. It didn't take long. It
seemed like a small hole at the end of a long tunnel, but Sho began
pushing herself against the goo. Her lungs were beginning to compress
upon themselves.
As she neared the liquid began to become obviously transparent. It was still dark, but she could see more then nothing.
'Look!"Mirax cried, pointing towards the hand. "Only one more to go!"
Athena happened to be directly under Sho and reached up to help pull her
through. Their hands locked. Moments later Sho tumbled through.
Stepping back, Athena braced herself as the still gooey girl tumbled
onto the net.
Sho lay gasping for breath and it took her a few moments to recover.
They were all spread out upon a net precariously hung between two blank
walls, which were colored blood red. Underneath them was yet more
darkness and another dim, distant light.
"Ballet isn't coming!"
"What?" Joan and Phantom gasped in unison while everyone looked up. The goo lay directly above them.
"She pushed me through...and then...and then she...I heard the door
close, and she screamed! She saved my life and now she is dead!"
Shoshanna began to wail, the reality hitting her like a wall.
"We don't know that she is dead yet," Ruby comforted her. "But we can't
go get her now. We need to get down from here, alright?"
Sho nodded, wiping her eyes.
The others had been preparing a long rope out of excess net. It hung
down in various spaces between the gaps, and several people were testing
the strength.
"Who wants to go first?"
(April 14, 2016 - 12:40 am)
I apologize about the formatting.
Day 2 (Part 2 of 3)
Joan went first, being the brave soul she was.
The others slowly lowered her upon the rope into the fading darkness, only the small light at the end their assurance of an ending. Several minutes passed, and after several complaints from Joan, she reached the ground. "There is even some extra rope!" she called up to them.
Silence followed.
"Joan?" Mirax called.
"Get down here....right...now." Her voice overflowed with fear and adrenaline and lurched the others into action. They pulled up the long rope as fast as possible and sent Mirax on his way.
He said the same thing as Joan, but after that they couldn't understand their muffled whispers.
Ruby was the last to go down. It had been quite the upper body workout to lower Shoshanna all by himself, and he had to take a break before his own perilous journey began.
The net quivered with each small movement, and he suddenly felt alone. Looking up, there was the thick darkness that hovered above his head, while under there was nothing. Nothing but air.
Nothing to brace his fall.
Ruby took a deep breath, taking in the silence and using it to focus as he promptly grasped the rope.
"This is it..." he muttered. It was fear that prevented further postponement. Fear of what would happen to him, and what had happened to ballet.
He glanced up again one more time, shivereing at the thought. It's now or never...Ruby reajusted his grip, before lowering himself into the empty space. His arms immedieatly burned, and adrenaline helped him lurch down the rope, on hand at a time.
It didn't take long for his grip to falter. Luckily by then, if he glanced down he could see the others holding the rope in place. There was still a good amount of distance however, and it made his head swirl.
By now the hysterical laughing of several strange creatures were beginning to peirce his ears. Or was it crying?
Ruby couldn't tell as his feet touched the ground and relief flooded his veins. He let go just as the rope suddenly shot out of his reach, hurling upwards towards the net on it's on will.
"Jooaann!!" someone gasped.
It got everybody's attention as Joan ran for a cage, and towards the being inside it.
Everybody recognized it immedietly.
Puck.

First off, I'd like to apologize for apologizing so much.
Second off, I'd like to apologize for my horrendous writing.
Third off, I will try to add on to this story every Saturday. That will be my goal. My writing hasn't been the best of late. I have some family drama in my life.
(April 16, 2016 - 9:16 pm)
O.o
Anyway, I think it's really good.
And . . .
Are you
Ruby?
(April 17, 2016 - 1:26 am)
No, no, no. I would not do something like this.
(April 17, 2016 - 10:08 am)
Well, well.
Puppeteer, you planted that false evidence well.
Very good . . .

Day 2 (3 out of 3)~
Joan pulled at the iron bars that curved dilligently around Puck, her beloved AE. No one had ever seen the poor thing without a mischevious glint to her eyes, but it was replaced by fear.
Nobody was focused on the reunited two, however. Only Shadow, Ruby, and a few others remained in the center as the others rushed out to clumps of cages, pulling frantically at the bars.
They were all AES. They were surrounded by the cages in the round room. The blood red walls had faded, revealing a dull grey wallpaper, which caused Phantom to shudder as the cries of the Chatterboxers and AE's echoed about the tall room.
One cry, however, gained all of their attention. Everyone turned to Joan, who was looking around frantically after letting out a panicked scream. "Sir Galahad! He was with me before! I don't know where he went! GALAHAD!"
With that awakening cry, it was revealed that the captchas were there as well, kept in their own cages.
"Poxx!"
The distant cry echoed down the forboding hallway that was the only exit to the strange room. The deep, maroon carpet was torn up by claw marks and rolled down the long hallway, seemingly without an end.
Without a second thought, Joan took off running.
"Joan!" Elvina called after her, before running to Puck's cage. "We have to get them out first!"
"What if..." Shadow glanced upwards, tilting her head to the side as her eyes wavered in the pulsating light. "Huh?Where did that come from?" Her voice was soft compared to the AE's frantic bickering,
"What?" Ruby asked, following her gaze. His eyes widened.
The ceiling was gone. There never was techincally a ceiling in the first place, but a net. The net, however, had comepletly dissapeared. But the thing that Shadow referred to was not the lack of something, but the darkness that replaced it.
It slowly rolled down the walls, moving just enough so they could see it in motion.
"We have to get out of here!" Sho panicked, pulling at her AE's cage.
"Guys! Look!" It was the first recognizable sound that left and AE's mouth. It was Nova, and she had bent two of her iron bars to the side, allowing her to fit through.
The Novelist tackled her in a large hug before being throughroughly rejected.
Moments later, she had released all of the AE's from their imprisonment. "Oh thank you!" Athena offered, grasping Ice Cream Queen in her arms.
"Let's get out of here and find Joan!"
"And Puck," Ruby noted, realizing that the boisterous AE had gone missing.
"And Puck? Oh! Sir Galahad too! Hurry! We can't loose them!" Arabella was the first to take off, her AE in tow.
The others followed behind, just as the goop let gravity take it's toll, crashing down onto the cages. The long hallway never seemed to end as the darkness rolled behind them, filling up the only exit.
As they ran on, the hall only got more confusing. It twisted and turned, becoming more like a labrynth. It even completely rolled around, so the carpet was on the ceiling. Gravity had no effect as they ran on the roof for a short time, until an end came into view.
"Hurry! There is a door we can close!" Shadow cried, using her last boost of speed.
They all tumbled in yet another room, slamming the door shut almost a full minute before the goop even reached it.
"Well that was kinda anticlimatic," H.A.B chuckled, shaking his head. No one was listening, not even his AE, however, as their eyes lay upon Joan and Puck.
THey both stood unnaturally still, deathly pale as they stared forward at a glass case.
Inside of the case, hung from delicate strings, was Sir Galahad. Dead.
