It's OK S.E! Everyone has different talents. Maybe you are good at basketball, or drawing. And the people who are good at singing might really want to do what you're able to do. Don't worry about it! Of everyone was good at one thing, life would be boring!

I totally agree with what Joss said. Not everyone can be good at everything.
But do you really want to sing, or are you just annoyed because it's not one of your many talents? Because if you want to be able to sing and you really like singing, I would suggest trying to find lessons that could help you improve.
That's what I'm planning to do with drawing; I completely suck at it right now, but it's something I have an interest in doing, so I'm pursuing drawing classes.

That's okay if you don't like singing. Just because you're good at something doesn't mean you should like doing it. And sometimes it's the opposite. o.o
I don't like singing at all. It's not stressful, but every time I try doing it, I'm off key, and whenever I talk through a recording machine, it sounds like I'm a stuffy 4-year-old. I have no idea why...

So take what you have and stop griping! You can't be perfect at everything. We all have our faults. Even me. Especially me. Some of the things I'm not perfect at are. . . everything and giving sympathetic advice.
I know, I hate complaining. It's just super frustrating to go to an audition, then have people tell you that you're an amazing actor, but someone else has okay acting but has an amazing voice, so they want them... there I go off again on the ACTING IS IMPORTANT TOO lament. Oh well.
And I know I'm not perfect. I actually don't think I'm good at much. BEFORE YOU SAY ANYTHING DO NOT PITY MY LACK OF SELF-ESTEEM. I CAN'T HELP IT.
Ok, now that that's over with, this thread was actually made to ask for singing advice, like good warmups and stuff. Sorry I didn't make it clear.
lol, I'm terrible at giving advice, too. And just because you're not good at something doesn't mean you should quit doing it! Just practice and have fun. I'm sure you'll be great!

I take voice lessons (I have since I was 6) and let me tell you, singing—CORRECTLY singing—is lots harder than it looks. There's a LOT of technique involved.

Well... the truth is...
I am actually an okay singer. People have said I am a "great singer." I just don't feel like I am.

I used to be an AMAZING singer, but that was before my voice started to change.

No, I love singing. And I'm okay at it. I take lessons, too. The problem is I'm not amazing.

You must have a destiny as a pantomime, silent actor, etc! I know next to nothing about singing so I can't help you.

I only like singing if it's just for fun with friends to the radio or something, or at the top of my lungs with my brother.
