Art Contest Round

Chatterbox: Pudding's Place

Art Contest Round

Art Contest Round Two!

The categories are: Drawing (with color), Sketch, Painting and Repertoire (something you made a long time ago. Can be drawing, sketch, painting or model.)

When Butterfly said I could make a round two of the contest she recommended that I not draw names from a hat for judges, so I'm making it first come first serve for judging. One judge per event please. A judge cannot enter in the category he/she is judging. People can post their entries after the judge posts the rules of the category. Please fill out this form if you would like to judge or participate.

Name: Horse Spirit Girl

Judge: Drawing

Event(s) Entering In: Sketch and Repertoire

Anyone feel free to join!

Oh, no, that's not what I meant! I was just saying that it didn't seem fair to judge two completely different concepts together: Paper cutting is a completely different art than sculpting. It takes different skills to make them, and a judge would also has to judge different aspects of them. Like, porportions in a sculpture and symmetry in a snowflake. All I was pointing out was that maybe we shouldn't judge the two together.

But Scylla is the judge, therefore she decides what qualifies as sculpting.

I don't want to offend you, but it really bugs me when someone doesn't post under their real name.

Leaf of Love, your entry demonstrates finer craftsmanship, which is why I choose you as the winner of Modeling. Believe me, Mice, I know how hard it is to sculpt. This was a really tough decision but I had to choose Leaf. So that's it for Modeling. See you in Round 3 (which I'll host as judge of Modeling. . . again)...

Does it still count if I did it in pen?

When are you going to announce the winner for drawing?

The winner of Sketch is Micearenice!

I really loved the creativity of your bird. It looked really easy to draw,  but I could tell it was much more complicated! One of those things that yoiu made look easier then it actually was.

I really liked the other entries for sketch as well. Most of them, however, I didn't know if they were in sketch because the owner didn't verify what category they were going in. I couldn't judge those ones. But they were all really good, >.<

Congrats, Micearenice!

And, as you guys saw earlier, I'm obsessed with critiques, so, Katydid, could you give mine one? And don't say that there's nothing to critique, because nothing is perfect, so therefore you can find SOMETHING.

Congratulations, Micearenice! Good game! I really did like yours, though. You deserved to win.

I would too, depending on the rules for Drawing.

What are the rules for Drawing?
