Sorry I haven't posted on this!
Also: What season is it? I'm writing in my post as Leaf-bare, but I'm not sure.

It is the middle of Leaf-Bare. Food is scarce, and I haven't eaten in several days. It's a hard life, being a rogue. Sometimes I wish I was part of the Clans. They always seem to have enough food for everyone, and if they don't have enough food, they always share what they do have. The life of a loner is very different.
I made a deal with the clans several moons ago that I wouldn't come into their territory if they wouldn't bother mine. But food is so scarce that I have to break the promise. The Clan territories always have a little food somewhere. Tonight is the night that they have thier "Sacred Gathering" or whatever, so I hopefully won't meet any angry Clan Leaders telling me off for stealing thier food. But, such is the life of a loner.

I slink through the forest, making no noise. I've caught a mouse and a squirrel, and the sun is up enough for me to return back to camp. My clan knows that I like to hunt before dawn. I never was in camp when the sun rose while I was a warrior.
I slink through the barrier of brambles and drop my prey in the center of camp. Brightfire comes out of the warrior's den and walks up to me.
"Good morning," she says.
"Same to you," I reply. "Did you want something?"
"I did actually, I think Speedpaw need some encouragement. It's been a few moons since she? was made an apprentice, and she feels she hasn't made any improvement. Could you maybe assess her? Just in hunting maybe, but just so she knows we care. She's our only apprentice, and she's getting a bit bored with her normal training."
"Sure," I say as the camp begins to stir. "I'll take her out right after I organize patrols. I force some cheerfulness into my tone, but inside I'm sighing. Just get through the day. Goldenpaws will be at the Gathering. Just get through the day.....

Ooh, how about the storm happens AT the Gathering? And in the confusion it causes, could Ashstar say something to Goldenpaws about the kits or something? And the medicine cats will of course need to have a dark foreboding!

I don't think I'm posting enough, but I really don't have much to add, since I live alone. I guess I'll make another post after the storm.

I stare at Goldenpaws for a moment. Then two.
"Ummm... Ashstar? Are you ok?" she asks.
I jerk out of my daze. "Yes. Yes! I'm ok! I'm amazing! That's wonderful Goldenpaws! This... This..." Then I remember what I am. What we are. Forbidden. Secret. From different Clans. My mind starts to race, split clearly in half. Half one doesn't care. It wants to run away with Goldenpaws and raise our family. But half two remembers my Clan. My duty to the rest of the warriors. I'm a Clan Leader after all, if I don't follow the code, who will?
Goldenpaws looks relieved. "Oh, that's good! I've been scared all day you were going to report me to Faststar and kick me out of the Clans or something!"
"I could never do that!" I exclaim. "But.... Goldenpaws, what will we do? Will you raise them without me, or will you try to change Clans, or will I or......"
"I.. I hadn't thought of that. I've been trying not to run off into the forest all day just waiting to tell you!"
"I don't know what we'll do! We could try to run away together, but I don't know.... Just wait until the next Gathering. I'll have someting we can do by then. I'll see you at the cave tomorrow ok?"
Ok, can we wait until the next Gathering? Pleeeeeeeeease????????? Then we can have more crazy, nutso, awkward, moments!!!!
