I am directing, producing, acting in, fundraising for, and leading our school's production of TLTW&TW! I'm so excited! Auditions are tomorrow!

I hate The Chronicles of Narnia because it's too sad and it doesn't have a happy ending.

Everything after the Golden Age of King Peter is stupid.

The second book in the series: The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe. My sister was in a smaller production of the same play. She was Beaver. (At first she was just going to be Mrs. Beaver, but her friend who played Mr. Beaver couldn't make it, so she played both parts.) Break a leg!

No, it's the first. Chronologically, no, but the Magician's Nephew is actualy #6 and meant to be read 6th.

Amazon.com calls The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe Book 2. I suppose it might be better to check with a C. S. Lewis source to be sure.

I just learned this:

Chroniicles of Narnia: Chronology vs Publication
C.S Lewis’s famous series of children’s stories were published between 1950 and 1956, in the following order:

1. The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (1950)
2. Prince Caspian(1951)
3. The Voyage of the Dawn Treader (1952)
4. The Silver Chair (1953)
5. The Horse and His Boy (1954)
6. The Magician's Nephew(1955)
7. The Last Battle (1956)

All current editions of the books, however, number them in a slightly different order:

1. The Magician's Nephew
2. The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe
3. The Horse and His Boy
4. Prince Caspian
5. The Voyage of the Dawn Treader
6. The Silver Chair
7. The Last Battle

This order reflects the chronological sequence of events in the books themselves.

Lewis expressed a mild preference for this second, chronological order.

Yay!!!!!! S.E.!!!!!! WOWWW!! I would NEVER be able to direct AND produce AND act in a play- I don't think I'd be able to do the first two even by themselves! And I love the Chronicles of Narnia- and I would disagree about them having a sad ending- they do NOT! It is actually an extremely happy ending! I am fully willing to debate anyone on it! Actually, I am always open to a nice, friendly, logical debate. :)
