I had this awesome idea!
There will be 4 categories: Painting, sketch, model, and other, and a judge for each of them. If you want to judge one of these, please fill out this form:

Only two entries for entering to be a judge per person, please.
I will put each name into different hats, and this Thursday (Jan. 14), I will pull out four names, one for each category. PLEASE NO HARD FEELINGS, THIS IS ALL LUCK!
The judge cannot enter her/his own category, but can enter others.
The day after the judges are chosen, (Jan. 15), people can start to enter! Only one entry per person per category please. They have until the 21st to enter. Judging starts on the 22nd, and can be judged anytime in the next five days.
If you have any questions, or if there's anything you don't understand, go ahead and ask!

You can still enter the categories, you just can't be a judge in this time. But you can if there will be another!

Here are the supplies | used.
-A #2 Ticonderoga pencil
-A MAXCO school eraser
-Printer Paper
-A picture of my cat as a reference (On a Motorola phone)
-A corner of craft felt that I used as a blending stump because I couldn't find my good one
Katydid, your story reminds me of the time I was eating a cupcake and got frosting on my best drawing ever. It was of my other cat. Leo. Luckily it was really small and I was able to draw a stripe and shade the fur over and around it darker so it looks natural now.
Abigail, I like your parakeet! However, I would advise drawing more distinct flight feathers on its wings. Oh, I love parakeets so much! I went to the pet store to get cricket food for my lizard, and ended up wandering all over the place and I found the parakeets. They were amazing! Loud, but amazing. I especially liked a little blue one with a white belly and gray feathers on its chest. My dad disagreed to getting it, unfortunately. Says they carry disease and all that.

@Katydid: Owls are hard. Mine look like puppets with saucers glued to their faces. On a related subject, Ookz says heot. Hoot!
@Scylla: I love my little darlings! I actually have two, so they keep each other company. I don't think parakeets should carry disease if they are kept in a well cleaned, nicely maintained space. Also, they give them a check-up before they give them to you.

I love drawing owls, birds, etc, however. I drew a really good snowy owl once and wrote a poem about it but lost it. Oh well.

@Butterfly: Thanks and I think I will enter in the "Other" event! I have one question about the "other" event. Can my entry be a drawing? And does it have to be realistic?

It can be a drawing, as long as it's not a sketch. If it's a sketch, enter it into the "sketch" category.

Other Event~
Half of this is a drawing of what I think I look like and the other half Is of the theatre comedy mask. So it's like the side of my people actually see and then one of my interests. If this image is not good let me know and I will post another one!
I'm sorry, HSG, but we're not allowed to post realistic drawings. The mask half would be OK.

I'm not sure if my drawing will be done in time for the deadline. I forgot about this, and I'm really busy tomorrow. Plus when I try to post pictures it never works. I'll try my best.
