So not all of you readers know what I'm talking about right? Well last week the dance theatre that I dance in had auditions for the Nutcracker ballet. I know my part now but I want you to create your person as well. After you create your person I can assign you a part. If you don't like your part tell me and i'll see what I can do. There are only so many spots for each part so if you know the story and really want a part, you better get in here!

Oh yeah! I've been in a Nutcracker Ballet before a few times. Now it is all steampunky and there isn't much dance so I quit, but this sounds fun!

Of course you can be a soldier and be a girl! I was one last year and there were only two boys! There were like 30 soldiers! Depending on how many people comment you could have more than one part, but if you're Clara that's the only one you'll get.

Ok the deadline for parts is next Thursday, or the 17th. If I don't have that many people comment this is going to be very funny whenn I assign part because no matter what I will fill them ALL! I'll put out a compleate list if parts soon though.

All right I have some time now so here comes the part list!
It will be like this
Part : Number of spots : Costume descriptions
Here goes!
Party Familys : 5 familys with 4 people each : Normal party clothes for that time, but Clara's family is a bit more wealthy, so it shows in their garb.
Maids : 4 : Maid outfits
Dolls : 3 different dolls : Tutus for the Harlequin and Ballerina dolls, with a Russian outfit for the Russian. (Th Russian doll can be played by either a girl or a boy, but the other two must be girls.)
Nutcracker : 1 : We really need a guy for this part!
Rat Queen : 1 : Crazy and furry, the rat queen's costume shows her rank.
Rats : 6 : Crazy, furry, not quite as presentable as their queen
Soldiers : No specific number : Red or blue costumes with white stripes
Mice : No specific number : The rat's little siblings, the mice are not as wild and crazy as their peers
Snow Queen : 1 : White tutu, slightly more detailed and pretty than the snowflakes's
Snow king : 1 (Can and most likely will be the same as the Nutcracker and other parts that really need to be boys)
Snow flakes : 12 : White tutus with a blue snowflake overlaid on the skirt
Gold angels : No specific number : Flowing white gowns with corsety things with wings and halos
Silver angels : No specific number : White gowns with extremely long sleeves, these angels carry poles to give the impression of wings
Small angels : 4 : see gold angels
Dew Drop fairy : 1 : I can't really remember
Angel soloist : 1 : Same as the gold and small angels, but with a tutu
Rosebuds : No specific number : Dresses that are pink on the torso, with green and white skirts
Spanish : 5 - 8 : Red and black dresses, thay all carry and use fans
Chinese : 5 - 8 : Different colored kimonoy things with loose black pants, they sometimes use parasols
Merlitons : 6 : Tutus with purple tops with skirts that shift from purple to white
Arabian Queen : 1 : Green velvety top that ends above her belly and long velvety green pants
Arabians : 6 - 8 : See above (The Arabians sometimes use hairspray and glue to stick rhinestones on their bellies)
Candy canes : 10 : Red and white striped tops and pants, with a little skirt. They carry plastic candy canes and use them during their dance.
Russian : 9 (at least 3 of these would need to be boys if possible) : Red green and white dresses for the girls, and black pants with red shirts for the boys
Hungarian : 10 : Dresses like the Russian's but blue, green, and white
Gingers : No specific number : Brown leotards, pants, and shirts trimmed with various colors. (The ginger costumes need to be replaced the most often.)
Rose Queen : 1 : Red tutu with red, white, and green petals on the skirt
Flower soloists : 2 : Green tutus
Flowers : No specific number : green or pink dresses with a bit of white in them
All parts that are listed as 1 can be divided between 2 people if needed
Wheew! *Wipes sweat from brow* Glad thats done!
