Has anyone watched this? It is an old TV show (my DAD watched it when he was a kid) that I LOVE. It is really good. I recommend it to anyone.
One of my favorite episodes is the one when
*SPOILER ALERT FOR THOSE WHO HAVEN'T WATCHED SEASON 4!*
the house burns down. THAT was creepy. I actually enjoyed the scenes when the house was on fire and they were getting out of the house. I still wonder if they actually had to burn down the set.

Who are your favorite charactars, what episodes do you like, and have you seen the ones they made, like, 10 years after that?

Oh, yes. There are reruns on now, I think maybe on Hallmark Channel. I love The Waltons. I'd say my favorite character is John Boy, although I haven't watched a lot of the shows. I did see the one about the fire. I forget how it started, maybe due to carelessness?

Yeah, it was carelessness. It was either Grandpa's heat fan (he left it plugged), or John-Boy's pipe (it dropped on the floor, lit). They never did find out.

WALTONS IS THE BEST SHOW EVER!
I love the Waltons, needless to say. Fav character? John-Boy, because I have a crush on him- if we had to exclude him, I really like Mary-Ellen, Elizabeth, Ms. Hunter and Jenny (is it spelled with ie or y? no matter). My favorite episodes... hmm, I like the two part "Thanksgiving story", the one about the Hindenberg, The Typewriter, anything with the Baldwins, the first episode Jenny appears in, Mary Ellens wedding- the list goes on and on:)
The ones they made after the show (the movies) years are..weird. Like so weird I-watched-only-three-minutes-and-was-like-this-is-not-the-Waltons. I like the ten years-later ones, cause Elizabeth is grown up and shes awesome, but I really resent the other John-Boy.

I know! He is nothing compared to Richard Thomas. I like the ones they made when they were all grown up like when John Boy gets married, gets twins, etc.

Oh. My. Gosh.
I LOVE The Waltons! It is my all time most favorite show! I got seasons 1 through 4 for Christmas, and went out and ordered this magazine all for a two page article on the reunion of The Waltons cast!
My favorite characters are John-Boy (when Richard Thomas is playing him), and Mary-Ellen.
My favorite part of the episodes are always Earl Hamner's narration at the end as grown-up John-Boy. It always gives me food for thought, and gives the show all that much more of a warm, old time, coming back home feel to it.
