NaNo Covers
I argued about whether or not I should put this in Inkwell or Pudding's Place but I decided on here. Anyhow, I want to talk about NaNo covers and maybe do some... There are a lot of people out there who are much better at designing book covers, but I though it would be fun to do some, especially on the CB. I don't know if I'll personally get to it, but it would be fun to try. And if other people wanted to make covers for other people they could and it would just be one big pile of lala-ness or something.
The idea is that someone could make a cover for one of your novels. It's kind of like the character drawing thread, except with novels from NaNo. You can submit the one you're doing this year or one you did in previous years. You can also suggest what the artist might draw for the cover, a sort of general idea.
This'll be fun!

Good, but Echo is falling off the tree. She was climbing it when it was struck. And it's a tall, thin tree.

Sorry...
It will take me a bit longer.
And what's the name of the book/your penname, or whatever?
@Jiffy Jim Joe, did you really draw that?!?! How old are you?!? That's really good!!!

So, this is for Brooke. This may work, or may not. Let's see if it does.
If that doesn't work, maybe this?:
And if THAT doesn't work:
Sorry, Danie. Nothing is showing up.

Ah, sorry for the wait Ellie! I've been busy and forgetful, but I will finish it for sure for the break :) All I need to do is color. Going upstate now for Thanksgiving!
Oh, and I turned 14 by the way! It was awesome :D I got books (of course) like the Steampunk Bible and Blood of Olympus, and art supplies like HB graphite pencils and a sketchbook. I'd say more, but I'm about to leave to go on the 3 hour trip upstate NY pretty soon. And I'll try to be on more often, even with winter track approaching in December.

Awesome, Moss! I don't mind the wait. I'm signed up for Nano, but I don't really want to do it. But I'l use this for the cover when I self publish! Happy birthday! Which city in NY?
(November 25, 2014 - 5:50 pm)

@Winter Firefly: If that yes was for me, thanks a lot! If it wasn't, that's fine, ignore my post.
Title: Metal Man (title pending)
Series name/subtitle: None
Author/Pen Name: Sammy Fay
Fonts and word coloring: Um, I suppose black, and any font that isn't too fancy but different from the norm is fine by me
Images/link/ideas: I guess a large metal figure looming over buildings or something of the sort, but definitely two girls, one with short, black curly hair, wearing mechanic's clothes and the other with long, dirty blonde, hair, blue shirt and gray jeans.
Brief Novel Summary: Rosemarie lives a normal life in California with her aunt, with her father dead and her mother presumed dead. Rosemarie doesn't care if her mother is dead or not, but her aunt is obsessed with finding her. So when her aunt gets a text telling her to come to Italy and bring Rosemarie, the former is forced to come along. There Rosemarie and her aunt get captured and put in a cell. Rosemarie and a girl called Jade escape, but Rosemarie goes back to get her aunt, and is forced to build an automaton that will destroy the world. Guess that wasn't too brief.. I tried to shorten it.
Mood: Dark colors, I guess, with dark red. Some brown and black too.
Other: I guess none.
