The Secret of Kells

This is the most beautiful movie ever. The animation is beautiful, and the music is simply awe-inspiring. Brendan is the nephew of the Abbot Cellach, who is obsessed with building a huge wall around their abbey to keep it safe from Viking marauders. Brendan becomes friends with Aidan of Iona, who lets him help finish his life's work: the Book of Kells. And there's a little elvish/faerie girl named Aisling who has some awesome-looking wolves. And she sings to the cat, which might just be my favourite part of the whole movie. The music is just awesome. The plot isn't terribly complicated, but it works for this particular movie. And did I mention the soundtrack? It's beautiful.
