Animated movies that
Animated movies that aren't Disney or are Disney that aren't well-known. I love a bunch of non-Disney or not well-known Disney movies including:
-The Swan Princess from Nest Family Entertainment. I love this series, but I refuse to believe that they added newer ones. The Christmas one I'm okayish with since Rothbart's the evil one, but the newest one is my nightmare. Both of their animation is crud, the songs are too up-beat and not classical movie music, and in the second one, the storyline is absolutely. Horrible. Like. Goodness. Gracious. SHE DOESNT EVEN TURN INTO A SWAN GOSHDARNIT! But I love the first and third ones. The second one is not as good. Odette and Derek are such an amazing couple, "Far Longer Than Forever" is an amazing song, Derek's hands are extremely huge, the storyline is great for both films, AND LIZ CALLAWAY SINGS FOR ODETTE IN THE FIRST FILM! Who is that, you ask? Your question will be answered soon.
-The Black Calduron. First PG rated animated Disney film. It is scary. I love it. I used to check it out as a VHS every time I went to the library. It is awesome, Gurgi is adorable, and I just love it.
-The Hunchback of Notre Dame. It is Disney. It is well-knowish. Not many kids these days may know what it is. It's my favorite Disney movie. I now understand it. I now hate Frollo. I can't say words to describe him. Esmeralda is kick-butt. The songs are amazing. I love Quazi. Animation is stunning. WON'T RESIST. WON'T DESPAIR. OLD AND BENT, I WON'T CARE. I'D HAVE SPENT ONE DAY OUT THEREEEEEE!!! Love that song.
-Tarzan isn't as well known for a Disney movie. Same issue with Hunchback with viewers. Mel and I watched it on Wednesday. Tarzan is attractive for an animated thing. AND HAVE YOU NOTICED HIS BIRTH MOTHER? SHE IS BEAUTIFUL! PRETTIEST. DISNEY. GIRL. EVER. I'm not (put word here), but she's beautifully animated. "And Daddy! They took my boot!"
-Thumbilena, not Disney, 1994 year realsed. I loved it when I was younger.
-Ferngully: The Last Rainforest, not Disney. Great movie with a great message. Also, Robin Williams is in it. Robin Williams makes life happier.
-*sigh* I'm going to say it once and yes, I still watch these movies, even as a teen. Barbie movies. Especially the older ones. The Nutcracker makes me cry ugly tears.
-Anastasia, IT IS NOT DISNEY. I KNOW. SO MANY PEOPLE THINK IT IS. IT IS 20TH CENTURY FOX THANK YOU VERY MUCH. Watch. It. It. Is. Beautiful. I have this thing for the Romanov family, and I think it's from this movie. A movie I've loved since I was little. It's so beautiful, magical, and pretty scary for a kid film. I love it. It's sooooooooo historically innaccurate, but I love it. Oh, and guess who voices Anastasia's singing voice? LIZ CALLAWAY. I LOVE HER VOICE. SHE ALSO DOES ODETTE, JASMINE IN THE TWO SEQUELS, SIMBA'S KID IN LION KING TWO, AND IS AMAZING. This movie has an amazing voice cast. Look it up, you must know at least one. The girl who plays Gretchen in Mean Girls sings for young Anastasia.
-The Emperor's New Groove, Disney. This is Mel and I's movie. If we were to make a movie, this is it. We quote sooooo much. It is sooooo funny in our minds. "First, I will turn him into a flea. A tiny, harmless little flea. Then I will put that flea in a box. Then I will put that flea into another box. Then I will send that box to myself and when it arrives on my doorstep *evil laugh*, I WILL SMASH IT WITH A HAMMER! IT'S GENUIS!" I know that from memory.
What are some unknown animated films you love? Have you watched these films?

Anastasia isn't Disney? Wow, I'm in shock. That is one of my favorite animated movies! I love the music and the hauntedness. I also really like Up and Over the Hedge. They aren't from Disney, right?
(July 14, 2014 - 10:16 am)
Anastasia and Over The Hedge aren't Disney. Up is Pixar, which is Disney. I love those two movies as well!
(July 15, 2014 - 5:48 pm)
I don't think they're Disney. I know Over the Hedge is Dreamworks. Has anyone watched The Guardians of Ga'Hoole? They're based on the books.
(July 15, 2014 - 5:53 pm)
I love Dreamworks!
Dragons rule!
Know what I'm talking about?
Does anyone even know How to Train Your Dragon exists!
If you don't...........YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU'RE MISSING!

Non-Disney:
Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron
Rise of the Guardians
The Land Before Time
Balto
The Wild Thornberries Movie
Disney movies:
Home on the Range
The Rescuers & The Rescuers Down Under
The Aristocats
The Fox and the Hound (Everyone knows this one, but nobody acknowledges it much! I love it dearly.)
That's all for now.

I watched The Emperor's New Groove! It's really funny. I also watched Thumbellina when I was very young, but couldn't exactly understand it. And Tarzan was a good movie, too. Most of the movies are Disney, because I am a huge Disney girl! My favorite Disney movies are Frozen and Mulan. But I've watched a lot of Disney movies, too.

Land Before Time. It was my childhood. My sister and I would watch one of our about seven VHSs like every Friday. I love them, espically the first one. :D Oh, gosh, I miss those movies. *sighs*
Uhh, all the Ghibli films. I love all of them. Every single one is amazing and omslkrewfkg I love them.
I'm not sure about others . . .

THE BLACK CAULDRON IS A MOVIE?!?!?!?!?! I LOVE THAT BOOK!
Okay, it's part of a series, the Chronicles of Prydain, by Lloyd Alexander, which is decently good fantasy, but The Black Cauldron was my favorite book in it, because it seemed so Tolkeinesque. Ohmygosh, I have got to find that movie.
(July 17, 2014 - 5:03 pm)
Yay! Another Lloydian!
I love all of his books! which is your fave? I like The Castle of Lyr!
(July 21, 2014 - 12:26 pm)
It's a movie but it's very different. They demoted the main villain to the face on the cauldron and made the main villain The Horned King. Their logic: people like their villains to have horns because Maleficent did so well. Fun Fact: it was the first Disney animated movie to be rated PG instead of G. The first Disney movie overall to merit a PG rating instead of G overall was The Black Hole. They used to make a lot of weird live action sci-fis like that. I kind of want to find it.

I love love love Brother Bear. The music is great. The animation is beautiful. It's mildly funny. But seriously the animation is breathtaking. And nobody else gushes over it.:(

I forgot Quest For Camelot, not Disney. How could I forget it? My grandparents owned that movie so we could watch it whenever we went over their house. I loved it, so I took their copy. They don't care. It's a DVD, and now they only play Blu-rays.
