God's Not Dead...
I just saw God's Not Dead, and this was, hands down, the most incredible movie I have ever seen. I've said that a lot, about a lot of things, but nothing has affected me like this before.
The movie is about a Christian college student Josh Wheaten (Shane Harper) and his quest to prove God is alive. He is torn down and belittled by his philosophy teacher, Professor Radisson, who is adament that God is dead, and does not exist. The whole movie circles around not just Josh though, but about several other people, Christians, athiests, and people who just don't know. It shows the incredible strength and power of God, and how just one person can make such a HUGE difference. Some people have to overcome differences with parents, siblings, friends, girlfriends and boyfriends, and even have to leave some behind in order to get where they need to be, and where God is calling them.
I'll admit something. Do any of y'all remember awhile ago when we did the Compliments Tree thread? Remember when I thanked Maggie, and said she was an inspiration when I had just utterly broken? Well, I've been struggling a lot since then, and even possibly getting worse. But something in this movie clicked inside me, and I literally broke down crying in the middle of it. I think everyone in the theater started crying at one point, and we all cheered and applauded at another. The feeling cannot be expressed exactly. Only other Christians who have experienced renewal in Christ, even if you believed in Him before, will understand what I am talking about.
Whether you are Christian, athiest, or someone just wondering, I strongly recommend you see this movie. For me, it was literally life changing.

I forgot to mention that Kevin Sorbo (whom I really like as an actor) plays Professor Radisson, and Willie and Korrie Robertson are in it too! Yes, I do watch Duck Dynasty. Anyone else?

I know what you mean about the feeling of when it finally clicks , and you just break into tears wherever you are . It happens . Every single kid in my youth group ( even the boys that are really bad ) have fell flat on their face and cried out to their KING before . It's awesome to feel , and it's awesome to see !
Just make sure that whatever spirit had ahold of you doesn'tt come back . Make sure you're confessing scripture , reading scripture , praying , , worshipping , and going to church.

@ Vida: Thanks. It really does feel awesome! I definitely am. I'm praying really hard that I won't start second guessing myself again. I'm currently reading from the book of Psalms, which is good cause it gives me verses to think on during the day. Thanks for the support!

Oh my goodness YES! It was an amazing movie! I cried so hard when (spoiler alert!) Raddison died! It might have been the slightest bit cheesy at the end when all of the people got the text, but it was amazing! I left the theater so encouraged in my faith. I am so glad that the Christian movie industry is starting up to create such cool plots. I got confused at points becuase it is about 5 different interlocking storylines, but as the knot untied at the end, I was fine. Also, the whole "God is good all the time" thing was HILARIOUS!!!!!
Glad I have some fellow believers in the Chatterbox!
