I'm kind of (really) ticked off because there's a Bastille concert here in Charlotte on May 20th but my mom won't let me go because they're playing at a small place and we wouldn't be able to see. Then there's a Panic! At The Disco concert also here in Charlotte on August 13th but I can't go because I'm going to be in Florida from August 9th-19th. Also a OneRepublic concert in Charlotte on August 14th, which I can't go to because of Florida. Panic! At The Disco is playing in Florida in a city really close to the town where we're staying, but it's the day we're coming back to Charlotte. So basically I've got to wait a year (or more) before I've got evven the slightest chance of seeing any of my favorite bands perform live.
Anyway, has anyone ever been to a concert? Just out of curiosity.

Ish...I've been to my own band concerts, and my little brother's concerts, and his really bad recorder concert. :D But not really the kind you probaly mean.

I've been to a few concerts. Actually, a few days ago I went to Birdy's concert. It was awesome. The key to being able to see at a standing concert is that you have to get there about an hour before they start letting people in. That's what I did with Birdy so I was really close to the stage.
Her opening act was a guy named Billy Lockett. He's not that famous yet but he is REALLY awesome. You guys should check him out. My favorite song is "Pathways".

I went to the Jonas Brothers concert in 2nd grade (my friend wanted me to go) and it was ok. I didn't think they were oh-so-talented and the crowds made me dizzy. The next concert I went to was better, and it was in Pleasantville for the Pleasantville music festival. I saw the Rusted Roots, the Bacon Brothers, etc. The last two I went to was a bluegrass concert for Molasses Creek and seeing Yo Yo Ma at Bethel Woods. That had to be my favorite concert! Yo Yo Ma is an amazing cellist and he sounded great with his Goat Rodeo. And Bethel Woods... Woodstock :D I got a peace sign bag that I use to carry books and a Woodstock tee-shirt. I'm hopefully going to an Imagine Dragons concert in the summer and to Bethel Woods!

I've never been to a concert. I have been to musicals, and I'm going to see a live show of Welcome to Night Vale next month, which makes me really happy. It's a podcast that gives news reports from this fictional town where a bunch of weird crazy stuff happens and everybody's so used to it they treat it as normal; it's really hilarious and overall wonderful.
