Chatterbox: Pudding's Place

SINGING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today we get to talk about my favorite topic: singing! SQUEEEEEE!

Okay, well, um, look at my penname if you don't know me and you'll figure this out, but I love to sing! It's my LIFE!

Do you guys like to sing?! And can you list any of your singing credits and auditions?

My very first singing audition was in fourth grade (four years ago), and I was auditioning for a quartet with three other girls in our school choir. I GOT IN!!! It was a lot of fun since I'd never sung into a microphone before.

Next, in fifth grade (three years ago), I auditioned for an elementary honor choir (ACDA Eastern Division), which was all over the Eastern USA. Nine students were selected from each school, and I was one of those students! I wouldn't go until next year, though.

In sixth grade (two years ago), I finally got to pack my bags to go to Providence, RI to stay in a hotel and rehearse for the concert (I got to miss a week of school, too!). It was A LOT of work, but the hotel was amazing and the concert was so much fun.

Then, in seventh grade (last year), I auditioned for an opera for ages 12-18. Obviously the older people got the principle roles, but I still was accepted! I played in the ensemble and I got to sing so much! It was AMAZING.

Now, I'm in eighth grade, and I'm doing a school play of Seussical. SUPER fun! I'm not the lead, but I get a duet and a quartet and lots of dancing!

Guess what my director/choir teacher told me today?

"Nora, I love watching you sing. You have an amazing voice and you have so much emotion!"

AAAAAAAAAAAAH! I'M DYING!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D
