Has anyone seen it yet? And if so what do you think? I have yet to see it but I just couldn't wait to ask you guys.
By the way, Lorde covered Everybody Wants to Rule the World (original by Tears for Fears) for the movie. I don't actually like the cover much so I was sort of disappointed...

I saw it in an HG double feature the night it came out. It started at 8 and finished a bit after ten (EST time), so technically we finished watching it like about two hours or so before it actually came out.
I was mildly surprised that Johanna Mason did the THING... if you read the book and/or saw the movie, you know which THING. Hint: Elevator.
I would've been more surprised if I didn't already know it was going to happen (I read media gossip magazines, unlike SOME people I know).
The performances were great, the action was nicely set up and paced, and it was better than the original for sure. It was, at least, just as good as the book, and maybe even better. Very satisfactory. Can't wait for MJP1.

I saw it yesterday and really liked it. I think they did a really great job at following the book. They kept all the important things, and left out the unnecessary details. I also really like their casting. Pretty much everyone fit their characters. One thing that bothered me was that they made Katniss and Gale's romantic relationship into more than it really was, but other than that, I loved it!

Saw CF a bit a go and also surprised by the elevator scene... It was more enjoyable to watch victors battle then regular tributes, if you ask me.
