Chatterbox: Pudding's Place

Dessa and Doomtree. 

Recently, I have been listening to quite a few of Dessa's (and Doomtree's)* songs. Which is kind of weird for me, but I have random tastes in music. Some of my favorites from their new albums (I don't know how new):

"The Grand Experiment," Doomtree

"Skeleton Key," Dessa (Album: Parts of Speech)

I believe they are mainly a Minnesota band, but has anyone else heard of them? 

*Doomtree is a band featuring Dessa, and Dessa is an aritist. In case I didn't make that clear.
